On the third day of the Bengal Classical Music Festival held in Dhaka in 29th November 2014, a choral rendition of the song by students of Bengal Parampara Sangeetlay-Abhipriyo Chakraborty, Sanjibon Sanyal, Golden Mondol, Latifun Julio, Sarathi Mallick, Bitu Kumar Shil, Jahidul Islam, Bihag Jamil Khan, Farabee Islam, Priyanka Das, Barsha Majumdar, Sharmila Majumdar, Susmita Debnath, Sonia Hossain, Debjani Das. The artists was accompanied on stage by Enamul Haque Omar & Goutam Sarker on the Tabla and Bijan Chandra Mistry & Talha Bin ali on the Harmonium. The presentation of "KALYAN" (mishra ragas based on Kalyan thaat), composition by Suchisree Ray.
Bengal Parampara Sangeetalay (BPS) is a programme of the Bengal Foundation which opened its doors in November 2014, to deserving Bangladesh students, to offer free tuition in Indian classical music from internationally renowned teachers under a modern interpretation of the Guru-Shishwa parampara method. The aim is to revive interest in classical music and create the next generation of young masters who will ensure the propagation of an important musical legacy of the sub-continent. The programme has been lauded for its uniqueness, benevolence, and long-term commitment to excellence.
Suchisree Ray is hailed as a significant arrival in the arena of north Indian classical music to represent the present generation. In her able and arresting rendering of Kheyal, Thumri, Kajri, Chaiti, she makes an amazing combination of a suavity of poeatic feel and consummate skill by extracting the essential boldness of the Agra-Gwalior 'gayeki' and eloquence of the 'Benaras style'. Ray’s years as a senior disciple of renowned musicologist Pt Kumar Prasad Mukherji led to her interest in research and experimentation. Empowered with a gifted melodious voice of rare texture and untruing 'taalim' she infuses in her unique recital the magnificence of the tradition, as well as a contemporary glow that testifies her individuality and originality. Suchisree Ray’s voice beautifully express the deep and soulful yearnings of the love-lyrics.

I am speechless and spellbound. What a smart presentation! What an arrangement and composition! আর কী ভালো গেয়েছেন সবাই! কতদিন অপেক্ষা করেছিলাম কাজটা শোনবার জন্য! লজ্জা হয় ভাবতে যে এখনো এ দেশে পড়ে আছো। আমার এ রাজ্য, এ দেশ এখনো শুচিশ্রী রায়ের যোগ্য নয়, জন্য নয়, আগামীতে হয়ে উঠবে এমন মনেও হয় না। আক্ষেপ শুধু একটাই যে এরম মেধার কোনো সম্মান আমরা রাখতে পারলাম না। ছি! ওপার বাংলা বা ইউরোপ, এসব ছাড়া আর কোথাও তোমায় ভাবতে পারি না।
