A bit surprised no one was familiar with, or didn't recall "worry stones" or "pet rocks". Both were popular in the 70s/80s, when I grew up. A worry stone you'd carry in your pocket...usually flat & smooth, and you would rub them between thumb & forefinger. They were enough of a thing that you'd find pre-rubbed versions, (actually cut and polished), in gift shops and tourist trap type places. Pet rocks were usually found stones that people would draw faces on and such, but also became widely enough known that versions were sold with googly eyes and whatnot.

It's a joy to see this young man living his dreams, he knows hes still very new and i dont think he'll make the mistake of letting the quick overnight fame get to his head, as it'll fade as fast as it arrived.
