To celebrate Women’s History Month, UCSD Pushpanjali presents काम (Kama), a classical Indian dance highlighting the history of the devadasi dancers. In this dance, we highlight three styles of Indian classical dance: bharatnatyam, kathak, and odissi.
To help protect these women and girls stuck in the corrupt devadasi system, please donate to the Mahila Abhivruddi Mattu Samrakshana Samsthe nonprofit organization: massbelgaum.org/
