damn it all.. why did i not google this 2 days ago and instead spent 40 mins finagling around to put the damn petals together... THANK YOU! I'm going to keep this method in mind for the future!

I also want to thank you for this, I have had the Joe 5 years, only messed with the fire ring to replace it when it warped a few years ago, then today needed to clean out way too much ash and bumped the ring, it popped off and I knew I was f’ed. spent 15 minutes and my fingers nearly broke trying to use the holes to lift them into place. After using crumpled paper it took less than 30 seconds to get the ring on. Again thanks!

😂 I’m at the same issue I guess. So my ring is no longer staying on my firebox cause I guess it’s warped. Is that when you know it’s time to buy a replacement.? I was trying to get get it on for an hour today and it keeps popping back off. Hands all scratched up 😂. This damn firebox and ring always give me issues

@@frankarmitage776 yes but definitely try a warranty replacement before spending money on one it may be covered

@@frankarmitage776 get some stainless steel wire and put it through the holes in the petals. Line the petals up as necessary and put the ring on, then twist the wire round the top of the ring to hold it in place. Repeat this all the way round,
