As a diabetic, this insulin capping talk is such a lie.... They only capped costs of 4 generic insulins, majority aren't used or are used in gov. healthcare. Unless you use these 4 insulins, neither of which being Novalog or Humalog, the most prescribed insulins... You aren't saving any money. This is why we need M4A President Biden proposed to extend the $35 monthly cap on insulin out-of-pocket costs to people with _private_ insurance. The Biden Administration and Senate Democrats included a similar provision in the Inflation Reduction Act, but that provision was stripped from the final legislation after the vast majority of Republicans voted to remove it.

Obama care was drafted by a VP from Aetna. This was pushed by the insurance companies bc of so many people they lost during the recession in 2007. Millions were fired and they lost their insurance. Obama care forced people to by private insurance from companies that sold policies that are very expensive and cover little. But they do provide some insurance which is better than nothing. But no Obama care policy pays for all medical bills. Medical bills is the number one reason why people file for bankruptcy even if they have health insurance. Health insurance is a racket in America. Health insurance in America guarantees profits to the owners of the company and guarantees unpaid bills for us.

My coalition gets seniors off diabetic medication overuse. I have done it for years. We need to reduce pharma. I was talking to a group of doctors who studied overseas the science of taking people off medication and that is the next phase due to problems with resistance and intractable illness in the face of failing treatments.
