1. The MRSA incident with Simone was in 2008. Yeah sometimes the effects last longer but around this time she just wasn't doing very well live. In the past 2-3 years she's improved considerably. 2. I find it both hilarious and awkward how well Simone and Tommy's stage chemistry works when the former's husband is Kamelot's keyboard player.

Actually, it sounds like Tommy is slightly flat throughout the song and Simone does go slightly sharp at some points when they're singing together to compensate I guess.

Oh please, did you ever see Roy and Simone together? Now THAT was some major rubbing. It's just role-playing, dude. Besides, I get the feeling Tommy isn't too sure about touching her or not, hence the "hover hand". Before calling someone a douche, think it though first.

yeah..... i see how everyone says simone doesn't do very good in this one :\ and in all intents and purposes she doesn't, but that's not put into context. First of all Kamelot has seemed to have tuned their guitars all down to C, eg. Rule the world has changed from Db to C etc.., making it lower in key and simone being high pitched singer, it'll make it harder for her to sing, plus she's been suffering from MRSA recently, which affects both her health and her performance, not her fault guys :S

She's gone downhill live in recent years. Her early live stuff was simply mindblowing, but she was stiff and lifeless. More recently, it seems she has been focusing more on putting on a show then hitting the right notes. Very impressed by Tommy though. Roy had some big shoes to fill.

I feel like whoever they would've chosen as the new singer, people would still bitch about it. Oh well, haters gonna hate. Tommy is, in my opinion, the best possible replacement. But then again.. it's not really about replacing someone. As someone else said, it's about a new beginning. Roy began something new after Vanderbilt, did he not? Kamelot grew to become my favorite band, and I'm sure it will stay as it. But really, Vanderbilt was so.. fgsfds.

Add that the cam seems kinda non-pro...meaning it obv. doesn't capt. sound correctly. But, surely it sounds a little outta tune...as often when performing a show (read: running a friggin marathon)while singing. I bet it sounded 1000 times better at the actual show. ;-)

That "recently" was five years ago. Enough time to recover, if you ask me. And even right after MRSA she sounded better than here. I don't know why but somehow but Simone seems to be going downhill live. I can't even renember a video recorded lately where Simone doesn't get out of tune.

Tommys voice is much too "normal" compared to Khans outstanding and unique vocals. They should have chosen someone with a more charismatic voice. Tommy is good technically-wise, but there's nothing special about him.
