To be exact Amazonz is essentially a modernization and different story from Kamen Rider Amazon of the Showa era. With it turning up on the gore, given that this was made in collaboration with Amazon JP, granted Amazon was also bloody but Amazonz kicks it up to 11, with the story revolving around Amazon-cells which are essentially what allows to both the monsters and riders to become what they are, with the monsters essentially being people who are infected with the cells and go on a berserk feeding frenzy eating other people.

Tbh amazon is one of my favorite Kamen rider series, it tone is dark and it story is depressing but the action is way too good, the minimal use of cgi in fight screen feel like older series while still have it own mordern twist + the story is good

@@rayfromdabayreacts and it not even main series, it a spin off net series for older audience (that why there are so much gore and more adult theme). So you can begin with it and dont even affraid of ruining the orginal series experience

This is Kamen Rider Aamzonz, not Amazon. Original Kamen Rider Amazon is the show in 1974, and Amazonz is remake of Amazon on Prime Video.
