After a collapse of Gorgom which is the evil society threaten the world, Kotaro Minami was living a normal life. One day, the cloud of the Crisis Empire begun to gather over him suddenly. Kotaro was deprived the Kamen Rider's power by them and thrown into the space. However, he got the power of the Sun and this power made him KAMEN RIDER BLACK RX. He fights against the Crisis Empire with the ultimate weapon "Revolcane" !

Fun Fact: Kamen Rider Black RX is technically both Showa and Heisei Rider since the show aired from 1988-1989. It's also the first Rider series to have multiple forms, although Kuuga is the first Rider series to freely change forms at will.

His life in Black was pretty crappy, but in this series it shows him having turned it around rather significantly. He seems genuinely happy most of the series run, yet can get serious when it comes to the Crisis Empire. Plus, he found a steady job and even got himself a girlfriend.

I know they explained in this episode how they neutralized his powers so he cannot transform. But in my opinion the show should have at least let Kotaro transform and fight as Black. Then in the midst of the battle or when Black is supposed to be winning there came that neutralizing beam. And then came the rest. Oh, well. Nothing is gonna change. It's all been done.

Does anyone notice that when Black RX's theme kicks in, Miyauchi is singing differently from usual? That doesn't seem to be on any other version. Also, since I did (unfortunately) discover this design the...painful way (though it does help make it my favorite Showa Rider design), I can't help but notice a couple of similarities between Kotaro and Tommy. I wonder if anyone else see what I mean before I have to point them out.

I did not see this series till 1994 and the opening is so mesmerizing with little or no glimpse of Black RX till later on. This series meant something and was innovating. Though it never over achieved it’s predecessors.It’s good for what it is. There was another Rider series in development(wish we knew what for 1989-1990. But the week ratings and over budget killed any chances for another Series.

El Kamen Rider más CHAD de todos los tiempos, SEGUNDA TEMPORADA, por cierto jamás perdonaremos a Saban la atrocidad que cometió con esta serie al adaptarla, y por cierto también uno de los momentos que más recuerdo de esta serie es la lucha contra el monstruo de la "EXPLOCAPA" en el episodio 7

Wow this movie is favorite of child in 90's Back in the past Indonesia Aired this movie in 1994 -1995 in RCTI Channel the show name is KSATRIA BAJA HITAM RX But actually i was born in december 1994 so in my child i watch this movie in laser disc
