The Beast wrecked a fleet of merchant ships sailing in the Bosphorus Strait. It swam across the Mediterranean Sea, nuclear bombs were falling from the Executioner (Black Daileon spacecraft). The Executioner (Black Daileon spacecraft) pursued bombing with nuclear bombs plummeting on the Beast (Savine Jason) swimming in the Aegean Sea. The Invisible Force Field (protection) generated by the tricuspid surrounding the Beast (Savine Jason gigantic to 666 meters in stature), was not broken. As those nuclear bombs hit the Beast, the tricuspid translated Savine Jason to the volcanic arched islands of the Pacific Ocean. The nuclear explosions boiled and dried (evaporated) the Aegean Sea. The Beast was diving from the depths of the Mariana Trench. Savine Jason brought one of those nukes he'd picked up just in case the Executioner spotted it. These first two episodes have some serious pacing and editing issues. I had to go back and rewatch the fight with the Skull-ma because my brain didn't register that they were defeated, it's just "small explosion" -> "cut to Jarku's space ship" -> "cut to Kotaro lying on the ground" (I was about to accuse this of pulling a Godzilla 2014). In fact, not a lot actually happens in these first two episodes, they just kinda meander with trippy dream sequences, scenes either playing out too long (Skull-ma stealing kids' bikes for no reason, people driving into spikes in the road like lemmings, etc) or not long enough (Kotaro suddenly runs out of the store knowing exactly where to go, and his adopted family suddenly follow him with no questions asked), a lot of exposition that doesn't mean a lot (did we seriously need Jarku or the King Stone telling Kotaro that his cyborgism makes him an outcast? Even if he didn't still look human, I'm pretty sure the past season's worth of material would say otherwise), while other stuff is never properly explained in the series itself (I had to go to Wikipedia to find out that the King Stone was actually split in half, since otherwise it just seemed like all the Crisis Empire did was prevent Kotaro from waving his arms around). Hell, even Hibiki had a better grasp of proper story telling in its first two episodes, and it opened with a freaking musical number!

I guess this is your first Showa Era Rider then? RX was basically the end tail of Showa Rider and the beginning of the Heisei era... it has a lot of stuff that got evolved and refined from Kuuga onwards have their roots here and from Black such as multiple forms and season long build up on story telling. A lot of this stuff got really refined come 2000 when Kuuga finally came a full 12 years later. It's a bit unfair to compare a show from late 1980's versus a show from 2000 onwards =P

@@RocKM001 1) I've been watching the first two episodes of every other season as they come out on this channel. Ichigo, V3, Amazon, Stronger, Skyrider, Black, all came out prior and all of them had far better introductions (hell, V3 was also a continuation, and it didn't have pacing or editing issues). It's not "evolution" or "refinement" if they suddenly go several steps backwards. 2) I used Hibiki specifically for a comparison because it's the black sheep in terms of Kamen Rider's storytelling (the musical number should be proof enough), and yet despite the main focus being on some kid instead of the titular Rider, being a coming-of-age story that's highly introspective, being extremely artsy (did I mention the musical number?), it *_still_* knew how to make the most out of 44 minutes better than Black RX. 3) The whole point of the first episode (or first two, in this case) of any TV show is to explain a show's premise efficiently and get people interested enough to want to continue watching. If they stuff is badly explained and the fast-forward and slow-motion buttons are broken, then someone obviously didn't do their job correctly. And while technically one could say "this is a continuation of Black, so therefore it's not really a first episode", enough about the show has changed that they still needed to make a good first impression to returning viewers (or in other words, they should've been more like Zeo Quest and less like Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie; yes, I realize that Black RX does a better job explaining where his new powers came from than Turbo did, but my point still stands).

Look pal, he has as much right to his opinion as you are, but that doesnt give you the right to insult someone just because you dont agree with what he said, by doing that you pretty much becoming the person you accusing him to be. As for his point, he's kinda right. Dont get me wrong i love Black RX however When you check V3, it did a better job at reintroducing the story than Black RX did. There is a reason why Black Rx is not as loved as Black and those pacing problems are part of the problem (and before you mentioned it, i have already watch pretty much all of the shows in the franchise so dont try to pull out the you only watch 2 episodes card crap on me, in fact if your not able to debate in a civil manner, dont even bother respond to this, you'll look even more like an attention hogger that you already are
