Kamen Rider Gavv Episode 14 Review | Is it Caking Form?

I was not expecting Caking to look so amazing, frankly didn’t know it was coming because I haven’t looked at any scans for series in the past few years. Love how it was debuted and how the Caking form is possibly alluding to how as Shouma gets stronger he’ll acquire more abilities like the Stomach inc guys as he was able to summon minions more like the villains can rather than the gachizou’s he usually can bring out.

I really love how Shouma just immediately clapped back at them for their atrocities instead of the same old "I understand what you feel etc etc"

This suit looks so amazing. You didn't talk about it here but I also love how Caking form lets him summon soldiers similar to his family's minions.

The way I interpreted it, was that he was stealing there minions by putting cream/frosting on them.

Absolutely stupendous debut for the King Cake form. Lots of emotional weight behind this fight. It never feels like there’s any filler in this writing.

I think the emotional connection makes the gochizous so caking with the greater connection creates an even stronger one

Best episode so far, It had some good emotional moments. Had the sisters chosen to be friends with Shoma instead being part of the family, they could have lived. The new form is cool.

It is so obvious that Shouma is going for the kill the moment he stop calling them using niisan and neesan which imply that he does not see them as family anymore.

You forgot/didn't mention that neilv or whatever his name is showed up at the suga's place the one who gave hanto ability to transform into valen, teasing there is some connection between both.

I was surprised he could make “normal” minions. It looks like this forms minion heads look like spades, which makes me think that his principle upgrades could be connected to suits of cards, which would be an interesting motif for Shouma to have. It could also just be a coincidence

Junko Komura is known for making legitimate villains, even the ones who are more neutral are still not "good people" as much as they arent in any way evil or bad, so i doubt Jeeph will be redeemed, most likely will go solo and do his own thing, who knows

Yeah from all the sibling the only with the slightest chances to wal off from this is Niren and that is more due he seems to have no intrest on the dark confection thing and just want to do mad science. Trough Hanto would need to be talked down from killing that one. The rest of the family? They are all in on the "turn people into drugs" buisness.

This was a phenominal episode as always. Caking form certainly lives up to it's name in it's regal feel. Hopefully if they're going to do the whole "this form is extremly taxing on the body" thing, they don't just phase it out immediately.(Although likelyhood is, it's probably going to be used sparingly, as a last resort.) As for the story, again great as always. It provided a reason on why the twins resent Shouma so much. Also, I was expecting both of them to br killed off this time, but they shocked me when they only killed one of them. Idk if she'll return. As for the ending, and the preview for next week's episode, I guess that proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Professor is colluding with Stomach inc.(Here's hoping they don't just pull the same copout with that like they did with the Minato betrayal arc. Although, I have a feeling that there might be a chance that he's just using them for his own gains, and he ends up being an arc antagonist himself.)

Caking already feels like the final form for me. Can't imagine how the actual final form gonna top this. Perhaps summoning minions which can also transforms into super forms?

Is the required Gochizo based on some strawberry shortcake 🍓 🍰, or one of those licensed X-mas cakes(Charadeco)? Either way, we're ready for a superheroic sweetheart who is willing to put his sword fighting abilities to the test. Also, he still has the Gochizo based on some buche de noel. It can be used by either Kamen Rider Gavv or his friend, Kamen Rider Valen. There's plenty of buche de noel-based Gochizoes to go around.

Only getting one killed off was a plot twist, as is his ability to go for the kill. Shouma wishes things were different, but also maybe he gets how their parents and older siblings mettled in their lives, so they have nothing left to live for. If the uncle wants to intervene and redeem them, I’m not against that

The USB thing is just a disguise Jeep may use it to assume his siter human form on a off the rails mad ramble but she is dead. I understand the tropes are done to death but this show has been absolutely not shy of death or allow the heores to be brutal. It does treat the monster of the week a another being that are for most time adicted to drugs but they are being part of a murrder industry and need to be stopped and the only way the protagonist have to do it is by killing them. Shouma's siblings are no exception.
