Kamen rider zero one was the best way to start the reiwa Era, and in arutos scream after losing izu....will be the most emotional thing I have seen in kamen rider history...also ark one is still as scary as ever, and the fact that aruto became ark one shocked me and makes you feel the pain and loss he shows in battle. But I'm glad that aruto fixed izu in the end, showing that there adventure "is never over"

It's really a happy accident that the sudden time and budget cuts forced a re-write into, imo, one of the much better re-writes than just WHAT IF BIGGER BADDER ARK and instead coming back to Horobi as a cyclical revenge and mutual familial suffering (although I never initially saw Jin and Horobi as Son and Father until they straight up said it in the last arc...probably also not helped by the age of the actual actors being too close). It actually WAY helped my own feelings on the whole Humagear acceptance theme; and that's even speaking as an apologist for the post-zea blackout putting the other Humagears into "sentience and self-acceptance for their own agency" which totally could be read in a worse way by many. Really as much a parallel to Fuwa's full season development, that over-coming an ingrained [practically racial] hatred even with MAJOR casualties on both sides, the fact that it ends with Aruto denying his own anger and sparing Horobi really does carry a lot of weight, both that the finale WAS with the OG arc 1 (hah) antagonist so it really did let things come full circle. In many ways the "control group" would've been this year's Re-Vice since Arc 2 onwards the writing team did what Zero-One could've gone: throw out it's major theme to escalate some bigger and bigger big bad, and to save that long rant, it...did not stick with me nearly as well as Zero One's has. Just uh...don't bring up the VCinema. I'm sure many of the spotlighted actors probably wanted an easy exit from Kamen Rider and it is at least self-aware that it isn't JUST the typical "OH NO THE SYMPATHETIC MILITANT REBELS ACTUALLY KILLED A GUY, NOW THEY'RE MORALLY IRREDEEMABLE AND THUS KILLABLE WITHOUT REMORSE" but uh...it really does leave a bad taste after just how GOOD the main series ending was in reconciling their place in society

I never really saw or heard of this series but it looks interesting. It kind of have inspired me to write a screenplay based on the power rangers but it does look like a interesting series but i think you have good taste in tv shows hedge. Thanks for giving me some inspiration my boy

This made me happy. Zero-One is still one of my favorite Reiwa series. Aruto is one of overall favorites because he understands both sides so well and for the most part isn't talking out of his butt. He puts on a joyful face, but knows sadness more than others helps all sides so that they too don't have to suffer like he did. He is still a normal person and can still hold anger/resentment, but primarily keeps himself together unless pushed too far like with Horobi. It's nice to see that a main can actually have that dark side and embrace it at times instead of the usual "I will never succumb" typical hero stuff.

You got one thing wrong that is jin is not horobi's son more like horobi's best friend/ brother.

Horobi is designed to be a fatherly Humagear, they explain that. Jin literally calls him father twice both in the finale and penultimate episode of the show. It’s intentional.

@@HedgeOnStage yes horobi's body is father model humangear but he is not jin father because when jin and horobi were first reprogrammed at the same time so both of them are brother but not the model they are reprogrammed from and no jin did not call him father in the entire show but he did say it in the scene when jin die a second time but maybe because you were watch it unofficial sub translation.

Otousan, means father. Jin says it twice, it’s meant to be taken that way, and is part of the reason Horobi continued his rampage into the finale. it’s setup even as soon as Kamen Rider Arc’s debut. I speak Japanese. Please try again

Horobi already reveals that he is Jins father. It wasn't a lie when he said it, it was more of a manipulation tactic used by Horobi to get Jin to cooperate since Ark knows Jin wants a family.
