I think the reason why Zetsumerise Keys don't cause any "pain" when used by Naki and Ikazuchi it's due to the users and the Keys being connected to Ark, therefore having matching data. Instead, when Jin used the Progrise key, the key wasn't meant or didn't have data that matched Jin's original programming, so when being matched together, probably the Progrise key's authorization "protection" mechanism gave Jin some trouble to match the data, which is what we see as the "pain" he endures. My reasoning for this deduction is based on Fuwa's Shotriser getting destroyed after using the Japanese Wolf Zetsumerise key, due to the Shotriser and Zetsumerise Key not being compatible in the first place

I think the painful transformation from Forceriser only happened on human because the belt is geared toward Humagear. In the case of Jin and Ikazuchi, they are hurt not because of the belt but because of the programming when they equip the belt. For Aruto, well it's because he's a normal human. I find it unique that 2 member of Metsubojinrai used Progrisekey while the other 2 used special Zetsumerisekey. The Dodo is special because it's used by and have a data of growing Magia and the Japanese Wolf is created by Ark personally for Naki usage.

I think the reason Jin was in pain for his first forceriser henshin was because he was trying to fight it. He didnt want to be evil, but the will of Ark had other plans. Raiden and Naki didnt even flinch due to already being all on board with their mission. Plus, Raiden was obviously in pain when having his metsubojinrai programming reactivated. Aruto was in pain due to those massive chip legs digging into his flesh, plus, like you said, it being built for humangear, so it probably lacks comfort improvements the other drivers in the series has.

I think that ikazuchi is my favorite of the metaubojinrai suits I really like the look of it and who doesn't love lightning powers. In terms of characters I think Jin is my favorite. I liked the progression of him growing up throughout the series, also burning falcon is a dope ass suit, on par with ikazuchi I'm just counting forceriser suits for this.

their chemistry is half baked in my opinion literally but as in horobi and jin have a solid chemistry while Raiden and naki have little to non chemistry just to let you know there was a short anime episode of zero one which gave them some kind of chemistry with each other when naki was revealed they had a very interesting start but it never got through its full potential in the series same with Raiden who acted more like a filler then an actual character horobi and jin had alot of time but with jin they didn't show his character development for some reason they just focused on the main characters perspective instead of diving in more with metsuboujinrai horobi while decent could have a more depth to him like why he wants humanity extinct how he become who he is 12 years later etc overall metsuboujinrai has some level of competence put in to them they aren't fully fleshed out from all 4 of the members
