As anarchy says: “Be gay, do crime.”, no one will be watching. -Equality has absolutely no way of being maintained, because in a society ruled by the craziest, the masses will see no problems with destroying themselves, if they don’t have a state behind them. -Distribution simply can’t exist. If the point of communism is that everyone is absolutely equal, and the point of anarchism is that the community will kill its master through numbers, neither can be ensured if the other is present. You can’t distribute money equally in a world where jobs aren’t controlled and an economy isn’t managed. I could go on. I despise anarchy for its lack of reason, simply posadism without the nukes, and not quite at the same speed. But letting society rule itself is impossible. There must be law, constitution, ruler(s)… or the world will end.

All of these territories with thousands of people in them have functioned for years before invaders took over (because it were very troubled times). So your arguments are really not that convincing to me. Of course they had laws, small anarchist communities do too, and had also measures against crime that work just fine. You say a society ruled by the craziest, but there is no RULE. They had also ways of having an economy and stuff, so no one can say that this is impossible in an anarchist land.

Laws usually aren’t made because the best a law can be in an anarchist society is the hope that everyone can agree, when really they usually can’t and won’t. Since anarchism is completely against compulsion, it can’t force anyone into beliefs or following. And I won’t argue that economy isn’t present, but it’s not controlled or managed, meaning everyone can do whatever they desire with it. Maybe, if it’s somehow still running, we’ll have bottle cap trade. And the idea that states that were in their infancy which came in and out of war, led by revolution, being able to hold anarchy for a few years at most before being destroyed, isn’t in your favour. Pol Pot made Khmer Rouge last a few years, it wasn’t good though. And when I say “rule” I meant these people will be led by such fanatics, because they inspire them. An average man will like the president he voted for because he liked him. Boom. Both anarchies, communist and libertarian, have a million problems, and I’ll kill myself before I live in such a world, I promise.

Talking Anarchists myself as a Centrist, I understood and related even to there ideals. Politicians are a evil being the biggest one I agreed on, however theres a catch to Anarchism I pointed out. How in the long run would it work, what it parts of the Anarchist society wanted something else or more besides there Commune? There will always be power hungry and those convinced to follow. I ask knowing there are other Anarchists here, whats the long term plan of Anarchy or is there no plan and people are free to do whatever they want including reforming government?"

That’s the hole in anarchism sadly, it’s the reason I can’t get behind anarchism. Without a central government there is nothing protecting the institution of anarchism. Allowing anybody, good intentions or bad, to take over the state and do as they please with anybody who opposes

Honestly this is the problem with most leftists ideology maybe not leninism but pure Marxism also has similar problems as Marxism also advocates for the withering of the state. Though i believe that the nation, state, free territory or whatever it is that is anarchist/marxists from history we see that most become dictatorial or fails very fast or both after the fight has finished. The closest an anarchist territory stopped being at war is probably paris commune and it was shortlived due to france claiming it back. But other socialists always become dictatorial like the france revolution with Robespierre. So other than long term problems i believe we should also transition to these ideologies in a more peaceful manner. Maybe revolutions are not the way as it always leads to violence and/or oppression, but what nation in the modern world would let their governments retire for an anarchist society.
