Scientists believe that 20 to 60 percent of character is influenced by genes; I'd say it is much higher.
@nc01sadh2 ай бұрын
@jamiezenichi: And from where does the character come into the genes? Is it from the mix of character of mom and dad? While genes do inherit certain characteristics, the predominance is the environment. Environment can mold and shape the character despite certain pre-existing characters inherited via genes. In lower forms of animals there is no conscious and creative thinking unlike humans. So, the stimulus from the environment we grow up is continuously shaping our personality and character via the subconscious mind.

@@nc01sadh Families routinely raise kids in the same manner, same environment, yet they are vastly different from each other. They have inherited different genes from their parents. When it comes to identical twins, the similarities are often profound, as in the case of these two identical twins raised by different adoptive parents. Both are Valedictorians, yet their environments were not as similar as if they were raised by the same parents, household, or environment. Identical twins share the exact DNA.
@mdarrenu2 ай бұрын
@@jamiezenichi1017 Their environments were likely very similar in general terms - stable, upper middle class family, white, two parent families. Good adoptive parents have similar traits.

Now, the ULTIMATE GOAL is to reunite with their birth mom. Their mom would be so proud...that her sick twin was able to survive and became fantastic women.

I mean, just listening to their voices, it sounds more like they were trying to keep it together and just trying not to cry on camera. But for sure - if I got to see my favourite TV stars congratulate me and be given $5K in travel money - i'd be floored 😂. Then again in this economy - how far does $5K really go? 😅
