Dawn Staley wasn't even worried. Iowa had a good game plan but it didn't. Bench scoring was 36-0 in favor of SC. Caitlin has a difficult time when you play her tight and force her to her opposite side. She is moderately fast but not as fast as Raven Johnson, Chloe Kitts and Bree Hall. Don't forget Mylayia Fulwiley is a great defender too. Caitlin went 5-20 in the second half. South Carolina made the necessary adjustments and were ready in the 3rd quarter. Congratulations lady gamecocks. ❤❤❤❤❤

@@badlt5897 Another problem with Clark is that top recruits across the country didn’t want to play with her and she isn’t good at helping recruit-she wants to be the star and is a bit of a primadonna who demands special attention despite what she might say in the media. SC can recruit and their players are like a family who are welcoming to top recruits, play as a team, and are happy to all be treated the same by coach Staley without demanding special favoritism.

First, let me say I wanted SC to win and don’t like Clark. She’s a goon and a cry baby when calls don’t go her way. Having said that, Clark didn’t get “shut down”. She had 30 points and was the game’s highest scorer. The highest scorer on SC had 19, for example. Clark was made to look like a fool who can’t handle the ball several times though. She turned it over a lot! 😂

Not entirely. Everyone knows and expects you to lose, so there really is no pressure. Clark and Co. knew they has no chance to win and were just trying to do their best to not get blown out. That’s why they didn’t seem too upset at the end coming out with 20 sec to go. They expected to lose by 20+ and were “happy” enough. lol. SC is just a juggernaut. Maybe if UCONN had stayed healthy they could gave given them a run, but with 5 key players injured/out for the Huskies, this was always going to be SC’s year.
