Charlie's facility/home set up is hands down the nicest/cleanest out of anyone's you've shown. It's really cool how much he pays attention to even the smallest details. More people should model their set ups/cages after how his are, letting the animals live their best life in captivity.

Right?! I would love to see a Just me and my dad segment that happens every few weeks. Maybe one time she plans it and the next he does. Whether it's herping or looking for all of those baby corn snakes or whatever. I would love Sophia to grow up as into the life, and she will be so knowledgeable if her interests were embraced and fed!

The wood turtle enclosure is very beautiful and happy looking. A little pond choked with vegetation where it seems like nothing is there, but little round animals are running between the plants.

I too think he is just much more cautious around unfamiliar animals in an unfamiliar environment. He is much more animated at home even with a big animal like Slinky

I agree, he often looks bored to me. I see the other comments are trying to defend him or his parents by saying he's not bored. But as, not only a mother of six, but also a preschool and daycare teacher and a former nanny, I feel very qualified to say that Leo is often bored when he's on camera. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Most kids get bored very easily, especially little boys, and on top of that, I'm sure there are a billion rules the kids have to follow when filming is taking place. It's essentially being at work with your dad and I'm sure that gets very boring. I'm willing to bet he's a lot more enthusiastic when the cameras are off. And reptiles just might not really be Leo's thing. Sophia seems to be more into the animals than Leo is and there's nothing wrong with that either.

@@kerstiesweeney Exactly. I'm not trying to criticize him, just pointing it out. Not everyone is into reptiles like most of us are and he probably just has different interests. Sofia definitely seems to really enjoy seeing the different animals and being around Kenan when he's filming.

Kate has grown soooo much and I commend her for still trying even tho she's fearful. It's sooooo hard to et over that instinct of not messing with things that have some hind of defense. Maybe I think he’s like his mom more then his stepdad while Sophia is mini kenan that’s why she gets first go. Kenans raising her to carry the torch of conservation. SHE DOES WANT TO BE A ZOO KEEPER... so overall her actual interest is more then Leo by a lot see a few videos of them and that’s becomes clear. I’m sure if Leo was more interested kenan would be throwing him up first too

@KampKenan I'm so glad i found your channel because I've been trying to find out what those lizards were. I started seeing those in my old back yard about 8 years ago and they literally run so fast they run on the tip of the water (The basilisk lizard - I think I spelled that right) I called them Jesus lizards. I don't know, why my best friend called them that name so that's what I call them. But now I know the real name. Thank you for the real name
