There was definitely another one under the palm where you felt the head. You can see the top of the shell in the clip. The one you felt didn't move and the one you then got was actually behind it. Surprised you got out with all your fingers and toes. Love the work Kenan

Awesome I absolutely love snapping turtles as well. I’ve had snappers my whole life and have rescued hundreds over the years. They are so personable and always get excited to see me when I enter my reptile room and they definitely love feeding time. They are little eating machines and one of the hardiest species to keep they are literally bulletproof. At the moment I have a pair of Florida snappers and have been raising them since quarter size and now they are softball size and soon I’ll be building them a nice outdoor pond enclosure. I’ve kept hundreds of different reptile species over the years and besides my Savannah monitors snappers are my second favorite species to keep. Well I definitely enjoyed watching this episode and nice to see you at Fred’s again and hope you have a great day bud 🙋♂️✌️

We have a freshwater spring in my front yard, during the summer two snapping turtles moved in. A big-ish one and a small one, I named them pancake and flapjack. 3 days before my wedding the water had evaporated so much I thought I needed to put them in my pond instead. I grabbed the wrong end of pancake 🥴 when people asked what happened to my hand at my wedding no one was surprised that I would be fishing a turtle out 😆

Makes me think back to when I was n my pre teen yrs and I was out searching for turtles. I came across lots of very large gator snappers. Could find them anywhere. Mostly adults. Never babies though. Now it's seems I can't even find them any more. I can't help but wonder why?

I could never go in there barefoot. I hate the feeling of mud and wet plants on my feet and I’d be afraid of losing a toe by accident. My anxiety was way up watching this.
