Meh Canada me rehti hu. Mere ghar k samne university hai. I see a lot of boys and girls from India. Woh ameer ghar k nahi lagte. Middle class ghar se lagte hai. Meh soochti thi ki yeh kaise yaha aa gaye. Bahut paise wale nhi lagte. Ab pata chala hai ki loan le kar aate hai. I see that most are very advanced. They dont mind hugging and kissing on the streets. I am surprised to see them act like this. When I was growing up in India, all this was not allowed or accepted. I dont know if the parents are aware that this is going on here. Perhaps people in India have now changed as I see boys and girls living together as well. Perhaps all this is acceptable in India now. I left India 45 years ago and came to Canada after getting immigration visa with my husband. Life was tough in the beginning but we were allowed to work. There was a lot of racism but we still managed. Looking at this video has made me very sad. I wish these young people could remain in India. I did not want to come here after leaving my beloved country and parents but had to follow my husband here. What Babaji has said is 100 per cent right. I see some boys and girls working for security companies and others working in fast food places or Indian restaurants as waiters. I really feel bad for them knowing they will have to return after taking huge loans to come here. I hear Modi Sahib’s government is helping people with start ups There are lots of nice schemes offered by the current government. Why don’t these young people take benefit of those in India? There’s no place like your own country.

I am in the USA for since 1973, it is OK to come to USA if you have reliable family / friends / relative support in the USA. But do not come over here illegally without any specific support and after paying $50K-$100K to the traffickers and agents. Their promises are not true and probability to succeed in USA is less than 50%. Now laws are changing and are getting tough to be legal resident for more than10 to 20 years.

I don’t know any people personally but I live in Canada and watch Punjabi videos filmed in Punjab and Haryana. I see in those videos boys and girls troubling their parents to send them to Canada. Parents take loans or sell their land. Some parents think perhaps they can also go later. I try to put comments to tell them it’s not all that nice here. But they might think I went to Canada myself and am now stopping them. I came 45 years ago as I had to come with my husband. I did NOT want to come. I missed my parents and my beloved country Bharat everyday. Sab festivals aur sab sukh dukh meh akele ho jate ho. Jab India meh Holi aur Diwali aur dusre festival dhoom dham se manaye jate hai, hum yaha chup chap kuch nhi kar sakte. Bahir thandi aur snow hoti hai. I used to go to India every year but could only spend a few days with my loved ones. They all have now passed away one by one, my grandfather, father and mother. There is no amount of money that can compensate my loss of family. People should understand what they are willing to give up, just for a stupid dream which is not worth it. Money is not everything and in Canada, there’s not a lot you can earn. My parents are now gone and the doors to my beloved Bharat are now closed to me. There is no home to go back to. Think hard before you leave your family and your country
