Mommy Miyako and the kids as gods: I think the kids were presenting themselves as being temporarily inhabited by the spirits of the gods, since they said things like "if you take good care of these children", i.e. speaking of themselves in the 3rd person. Once the gods' spirits left the kids' bodies, they just reverted to being normal kids, in Miyako's mind.

Hey Ed, this struck me after the stream, the central character in Goro's/Aqua's life is NOT Ai. The show's been lying to us! The central character, the most important person in Goro's life was Sarina: the girl he formed a very emotional, protective bond with and transferred that attachment to Ai because she was her fan. Sarina was the girl he couldn't save and could only ease her eventual passing, and in his grief took on her obsession as a way to keep her memory alive. View all of Goro's interactions with Ai in the lens of "What if Sarina were here...." and the show reads differently.

Going through a time where you are constantly in a fight or flight state is absolutely hell. The Anxiety, the uncertainty and the exhaustion are horrifying. I am genuinely happy you are in a better place now. Kana and Mems stories resonate with me so much because i am and was at a similar place. I just turned 18 and have to work harder than everyone else to get my highschool diploma because of how the instability of my family circumstances forced me to drop out, and its horrifying. Every single day there is that sense of fight or flight, like "if i am not going to study 8 hours today, i will never be able to explore life and create a life of financial stablity and peace". i really hope this is not inappropiate here, but this is what came to my mind after seeing you talk about things like financial instability. It is just psychologically devastating (especially without a proper support system) and Oshi no Ko portrayed that brilliantly.

33:52 As a stage hand of like 8 years, I love hearing the props for the behind the scenes guys. The work that goes into filming, live events, conventions, etc. is pretty insane. I have worked televised wrestling teardown, HBO special, theater set up, outdoor concerts, countless medical conventions, and the A/V, lighting, stage construction, PR, and the unnamable varieties of other vital crews, all work extremely hard to make all TV, movies, plays, and live entertainment happen.
