Kanan and Hera: proof that a selfish attachment doesn't lead to the dark side. In Kanan's case, Hera is his rock, his support system; his moral compass. They work very well as a team, and the attachment never becomes an obsession. (That's the fatal flaw in Anakin that Darth Sidious uses to manipulate him.) With Kanan and Hera, it's mutual give and take. They fight and argue and disagree from time to time, but they'll always have each other's backs when they need it most.

I love their relationship so much. Now I'm crying. Kanan is so supportive of her. He is the one who suggests that she get promoted to general. He was always on her side. He always believed in her. He is so nervous meeting her Dad that he introduces everyone incorrectly. I love their love. They lift each other up. It is so beautiful.

HOW DOES THIS NOT HAVE MORE LIKES THIS IS AFUCKING MASTERPIECE i am. crying. Kanan is my all time favorite Jedi. and the arc with him and Hera... from the very beginning when they meet in A New Dawn is just so goddamned beautiful. their love feels so very natural and so very beautiful. if you havent read A New Dawn, i fully recommend it. His death, of literally everyone in the star wars universe, effected me the hardest. a beautiful tribute, very well done and with an absolutely perfect song choice.

And yes.. for me Kanan is the best Jedi of all time, and their relationship is the best marriage.. that could never become a marriage in all cinematogrphic history. The best ship of all time. It’s a pity that Kanan dies cause him & Hera were so much in love with one another but it was too late. If Kanan didn’t do what he had too do they all would of died including Ezra,Sabine & Hera. Ezra had a chance to save Kanan but Ahsoka told Ezra if he did that all three of them would not be alive, so Ezra had too let him go. It was a very sad time in Hera life but even Hera had too let go of Kanan,Kanan even stopped the empire by destroying the factories that made the new tie fighters, so Kanan got the job done even tho he dies. Long live the Republic in war & peace.
