Kanarra Falls, Beautiful, easy waterfall hike in a slot canyon. Utah hiking and photography

Go to Kanarrafalls.com for your permit. Yes, this hike requires a permit, which is easy to obtain. The trail begins in the small southern Utah town of Kanarraville. The water is always cold in that canyon, so just be prepared. It is a slot canyon and can flash flood in a storm. That is what washed away the old log ladder. Check the weather conditions. The new metal ladder does not have the same character as the old but, it is a beautiful canyon and photo worthy. #kanarrafalls #wendyleaphotography #utah

Hey you two. Thanks for sharing this trail. I love the hike. Lots of interesting water ways and rock formations. The slot canyon itself is spectacular. I love waterfalls. What shoes do you recommend?

We are both wearing the Approach LA Sportiva shoes. They are light weight, breathable mesh that water can drain through and have a rugged tread on the bottom for a good grip. We are also wearing neoprene socks and pants.
