Carlos King is a producer so I expect them to always be looking for the next big thing to produce, but where I find major fault with Carlos is that he and Kandi were FRIENDS and even if they weren't besties, he had her PERSONAL PHONE NUMBER so he could have EASILY called to ask or even give a heads up. But he was a snake 🐍 about it and even tried to illicit information from Momma Joyce on some sneak shit!!!! Had he just asked she probably would have said yes because she respected him as a producer, but nooooooo he went snake 🐍 and wanted to keep the entire bag to himself. Well I will wait until I hear Carlos gives his part of the story. I am not saying Kandi is lying but I do know there is three sides to a story, his, hers, and the truth. You can make an unauthorized movie or book about any public figure. All you have to do is find enough greedy people who was around the person in different stages of their life to tell you bulls**t about the individual(s). The only way for Xscape to stop that movie from coming out was to tell JD not to license the music, which he agreed not to do on the first Xscape reality show. When they started circulating and BET came to Carlos, he had no other choice but to put Todd's name and exec producer because he created the show too.
