I feel like they are two totally different tools that you can’t really compare. I’ve talked about them both on my channel before though. The comb does not detangle as thoroughly as the flexy brush because the flexy brush has a lot more teeth

Re: protective style for the lowish. I am the exact same on not keeping styles for long so hate to pay hundreds for them. Trying doing your own crochet faux locs using Marykbella's illusion individual method. Nolo tress came out with some crochet locs called poetry locs that look super natural like if you got them done and not shinny and crazy looking. I did them myself, saved a lot of coin, and love how they look. If you do them, do a video for us. I had knotless cause I was obsessed too. Paid good coin and only kept them for a month. Pros: they are cute; lighter than regular braids; thin so you can still Moisture your hair intertwined with the braiding hair really well; can still oil your scalp when you want to. Cons, takes a long time to install; some of them were tight and loosening it was a 🤬; when they start to grow out u can feel them tugging on your edges as they start to feel heavier; have to be careful when u wash your scalp with braids to make sure u don't end up breaking your hair. All of the cons go away with crochet.

The sound you’re hearing is the brush itself, not her hair. If you rub the brush on your hand or any other surface, it sounds exactly the same. Just an FYI, but I can see how the sound can be alarming tho..

Omg my For My Kinks mist spray bottle came in so clutch last night! I was detangling my hair and preparing for braids to do a #braidout and girl! That continuous misting spray....now I understand why people use these things! It made my life so much easier to not leave my hair drenched cause it already takes forever for my hair to dry anyway! For styles, you can do a flat twist cornrow but in a low bun.

Just stick it up in a bun for work and let down. You should have put the cream on and leave on for an hour or two then water with aloe vera spray and that would have helped with detangerling. Or make some flaxseed jel and leave on and off u go with detangerling. Love 💘 your video and thank u for keeping it real.

Use a bun. What is wrong with twist and go .look at the Indians. Pin one side then the other next day, then the front the next and up in a bun next day and let it go next day. Love it down and pin one side. Treat it like u would your braids.

I love knotless braids!!! I’ve only had them medium sized and I usually keep them in no less than six weeks, but I only pay $100. I feel like my stylist should charge more. Especially when it only takes her 4/5 hrs to do my hair.

Wash n go’s aren’t my thing. I tried them before I chopped all my hair off and didn’t like it. My hair is growing back now and I’m thinking of trying wash n go’s again. I’ll see.
