Kandi should honestly just interview veteran artists like Nivea with 15+ years in the industry with actual stories to tell. Imagine her interviewing artists like Kelly and Michelle, LeToya, Ciara, Ashanti, Mya, Mario, Lloyd, Sammie, Bow Wow, all the 90s groups like Total, 702, Brownstone, 112, Dru Hill and the men like Brian McKnight, Joe, Ginuwine and Avant.

@@LeeTheLee BET did a mini-documentary series (Finding) of artists from the ’90s and 00’s on their KZbin channel, and Nivea was one of the artists. It's called ➡️ Finding: Nivea. Check it out! It's not as transparent as this interview (she is much more open with certain things that I did not know in the other episode) with Kandi, but she is honest with the story of her career and the things that she did share, which is respected, too! And it is a great way to get another understanding (much love and respect) of how a mighty, triumphant, and strong 💪 woman Nivea is.

After seeing a clip of this interview on Instagram. I watched the whole thing here on KZbin. I cried so hard at the end because I was in the darkness and shame of addiction. I wanted to stop but didn’t know how. I went to outpatient rehab was sober for 3 months and relapsed. I was at my wits end! After hearing her say she just stopped because she was tired! Gave me hope that I could just stop. I’ve been sober 2 months today. Im so grateful and I thank her for her courage and honesty because she helped me. This had me in tears when she broke down about her drug addiction. Very good interview. She needs to write a book or even do a movie or series about her life

So Kelis was supposed to sing the chorus on Danger initially?!?! I can totally see that and hear her on the track. But, Nivea killed it and that was the introduction she needed to the world. These interviews be having the best industry gems and secrets.
