Kandy Market Hunt and Buying a Sri Lankan Sarong 🇱🇰

Local markets are often the best part of the cities and towns that I visit. Markets are the hub of business and social activity, and burst with all kinds of interesting life and liveliness. The smells, sights, sounds and tastes of a market transport you to the beating heart of a country.
So, join me on this wander through markets in and around Kandy! I pick up a few things for myself, make an unwanted detour through the meat department, and wander through a boisterous network of vegetable stalls. Best of all - I traded in my sari (which is for ladies) for a sarong (which is for men)!
