Kandy, Sri Lanka - Asia's Most Magnificent Train Ride 🇱🇰

I took Sri Lanka's famous train from Colombo to Kandy. But first of all, I was looking for some decent food - and I found it. After sharing my dessert and a cup of tea with a local man, I headed to the train station. The train ride was smooth, even though I did not have a seat. But my suitcase solved that problem hehe. After arriving in Kandy, I ate more food and a tuktuk driver scammed me.

Train to Ella, it is better to seat on the left side. Don't stress too much though, the view is beautiful on both sides.

Thanks 😎 I went to train station today and they said it's fully booked until 19th january for 1st and 2nd class. So wish me luck that I'll get a seat then in the 3rd class 😅 It's gonna be a long train ride 😱

Inter province Indonesian train before 2014 Train = traditional market,you can get everything : toys,live music from street performer 😂 ,snack,proper meal,T shirt,Super glue etc You can even get into even no seat available or free seat which means you stand overnight next to the door,its only 35K Rupiah 😅 from Madiun to Jakarta It become madness when the night comes,people sleeps on floor is something you wont suprise,once i saw street performer chased down by Train police (polsuska) using hand gun 😅

They don't have. They only have overpriced 8-10usd motorcycles with a very poor condition 🥲 I'm struggling to get a proper motorbike here. It's either fully rented or crappy condition. Supply and demand...if the supply is low and the demand is high, you can easily rent your motorbikes for a high price without caring about service

U cant expect A/C in a 3rd class train. And also living in indonesia doenst make u proud but living in java island yes indeed . 🤧 indonesia has lower GDP per capita and Low Human Development index rate than Sri Lanka, dont judge countries. Specially from Jkrta, surabaya & medan people not nice

dari awal Carlos memang pengen pesan tiket kereta kelas 1 tapi abis, kelas 2 pun abis jadi mau gak mau dan terpaksa ambil tiket kelas 3 dan boom liat sendiri situasinya gimana. ya intinya siapapun yg akan traveling ke Asia bagian selatan jangan brharap lebih. maklumin aja. kembali lagi kadang traveling itu di luar nurul 😅
