Kane roberts is one of the most underrated guitarrist in metal, im a bodybuilder myself who sang in a metal band, i was a pro wrestler and took my wrestling persona and used it on stage, i can relate to kane as a bodybuilder, musician, and artist, thank you rick for bringing kane to your show, also i like to see steeve steel, he played bass for kane also a bodybuilder , musician, or maybe rock singer thor. Thank you.

Wow what a great interview. In the 80's I worked out at the most hardcore gym in Des Moines. One afternoon Im working out and this guy comes in. Now I knew Alice Cooper was in town because I had tickets to the show later that night, but I didn't get the courage up to say hey, although I assumed he was with the band. Maybe a roadie? I was shocked when the show started and out walked Kane playing lead guitar. The gym I worked out was hardcore, really hardcore, so I wasnt intimidated by guys, but I do remember he seemed sort of intimidating, maybe pissed off. Put on a great show that night though!

So i discovered Kane late, but when I went on a Desmond Child rant, I found saints and sinners and holy smoke, blown away.. Talk about underrated artists. He kicked Bon Jovi’s ass!

Wow his physique was really impressive. I always wondered if it is possible to be a famous musician and bodybuilder at the same time, and kinda got very hopeless about guitar part because I can't even manage the time for bodybuilding but I guess after the college I will have time for both guitar and bodybuilding, nice motivation video !

@@hinjurock70 no you haven't seen pictures of him shredded you probably think that because he fought cancer he had cancer for a while he was skinny then
@hinjurock703 жыл бұрын
@@davidaix5771 I've been an Overkill fan since 1984 and I never remember seeing Bobby buff. He was always wiry and muscular, but he was never a bulky pumped-up musclehead like Kane - that dude looks like a Chippendale's dancer. Lame.
@davidaix57713 жыл бұрын
@@hinjurock70 I never said he was big and bulky I just said he was shredded and f****** washboard stomach and big arms that's like comparing a lightweight and a heavyweight he still shredded
@hinjurock703 жыл бұрын
@@davidaix5771 Well, you compared him to Kane Roberts, so I assumed that's what you meant. Lots of rock and metal musicians are lean, toned and cut, but not many look like bodybuilders. Although George Lynch was almost as buff as Kane at one point, and then there's Danzig, Henry Rollins and Doyle from The Misfits.

I'm an old fan of Alice from the 70's. I"m still working in the patch in Alberta, 59 now........Hmmmmm Just sayin. Anyways I live with my wife Val, for 30 years now, and it would be nice to touch base. She's native so if it's said....it's said. Just the way it is here
