There's something primal about this that is satisfying. Like we've always been fascinated at the complexity of steam engines and got some thrill out of rollercoasters and thought, "why can't they be one in the same?" And then Disneyland disappointed us with Thunder Mountain Railroad. I think this is bringing that primal juvenile fascination of train and rollercoaster into the same thing with it being an actual (virtual) train going on a rollercoaster track. I mean, I've played Derailed Valley and kind of felt like, maybe there should be more dips and loops to this. And then I realize what I'm playing and that that's a horrible idea and that trains are not meant to do that. But this makes that happen.

i don't know what video you talk about it more. though i was thinking, it would be nice if you could place down a switching tower. that had a set range, and a recurring cost for paying an NPC. but you set your starting and ending destination via a set route. every switch within the switching towers range would automatically get thrown.
