Evolving the Best Planes by Survival of the Fittest! (Trailmakers Multiplayer Gameplay)

Hey everyone back with Trailmakers! Today we are competing in another evolution challenge but this time with planes! Planes are a little bit more difficult to evolve so we are allowing for extra build time at each step but otherwise the same survival of the fittest rules apply!

So, you build a plane for 15 minutes, fly it, switch planes, de-evolve it for 10 seconds, switch back, (because what if you delete the wings), get 30 seconds to rebuild, and then fly it again, then repeat steps 3 - 6. That sounds... okay, maybe. Reconfigure the rules a bit, I guess it could work.

I have an idea with what u said in the beginning. Determine a block limit and everyone get time to build there own creation. You then make an obstacle corse and see who's it the quickest and the quickest person gets 2 things deleted off of their creation. (One peice from each loser) this continues until nobody can finish the course.

The Devolving Idea is actually super nice. Start with something really good, try to optimize and make it better. But the worst version moves on to the next stage.

On the topic of de-evolution, if you didn't do it yet: You still need to win three times, but you're required to delete a certain amount of details and no less. The winner's transport is the one that gets dismantled in the next round. Starting, of course, with something absolutely insane and detailed. Of course, you want to win the fastest way possible, or else you may just run out of important details on your vehicle by the round 7! :D

You know kAN, you can actually fly with a hover pad, it's called a UFO engine. You should try using them whenever you have a low power core limit, they are super fast. Just one of them can get you past 200mph. They're made by jamming a piece into an upwards facing hover pad at an angle of 5 degrees. Look one up on the trailmakers workshop to get an idea of it, they are super easy to make in a time limit like 60 seconds. Though they are kinda unstable whenever you are going over uneven terrain, and you'll need extra buoyancy if you use them on a boat, since they push your vehicle down a little. They are good for travelling quickly in the air or in a straight line, though, and you could definitely use them on/in the water though that is where they are most unstable. The others might not like how you easily floor them in every low power core minigame, if you can control them... The centrifuge and drag strip leaderboard are dominated by them, you should try them someday.

The reason that you couldn't take off, could perhaps be that you were in the side by the grass, instead of the middle with asfalt.

Need the wings to be rigid instead of the whole thing being an aileron, it caused you to spin nearly instantly on your 2nd build, hence your problems turning. Better to have only the end pieces pivot rather than the whole thing, as that turns you into a literal airborne-drill.

i mean, devolution could work... you can start with 15 power cores (10 minute build time). then go down to 10 power cores (3 minute build time). then 5 power cores (2 minute build time).

kan at the end of the video that plane doesnt take off because it doesnt have enough speed because your pulling up before the race started and pulling up without having speed causes drag so yeah thats the reason it wont take off

guessing the boost thrusters when boosting limit the effect of lift so they can maximize your movement vector forward. essentially making it impossible to lift of.

Or there a just heavy and they added stuff to the airframe it's weight increased to a point there the velocity that was possible to achieve on that short runway was lower than the lift at set speed of the airframe

you should battle everyone that you know plays this but only plane but with a twist the twist is thrust is only engines the objective is to 1 fly around the whole map 2 get the most speed 3 get to the top of the airborne map and land safely rule is for airborne map only can use 2 mini thrusters for moving and as many as you want for upforse to slow down the fall
