a "no theme" theme first brings to my mind the lack of any decorating just plain pieces no aesthetics choices like trees or changing colours or anything...

I mean Kacky tracks do tend to be Wacky, though since there seemingly was some randomness to how it behaved, I don't think it qualifies as Kacky actually

@@GummieI Trackmania is inherently deterministic, so technically no track can ever be RNG, but there's some kacky tracks that are essentially random. Wirtual went through his old kacky tracks a bit ago, and on one of them, you just had to luck out and have your car bounce just the right way.

@@NihongoWakannai As Eric pointed out above Trackmania is in fact deterministic, it does NOT in fact have any randomness, but the idea of the Kacky tracks are they are taking skills to the limit, but they are still repeatable, but often close to if not pixel perfect, but if you do 100% the same input in tranckmania the result will always be 100% the same. This is not always the case in zeepkist, and this seemed to be one of the things that have some actual randomness to it (Though the difference between plixel perfect or even close to pixel perfect, and randomness can be basically impossible to determine without using something like a TAS). We do know for a fact for instance that rock spawners and cats are random in their spawns, and as such at least if you incorporate those a TAS would not be able to reliably finish a track every time where those are present, or at least not with same time each time, where as a TAS would always be able to finish a trackmania track, with the exact same time once it is set up to finish it once

I think to make the jump you have to launch the hay bale backwards, or at least everytime I saw the hay bale going forwards you didn't make it. If Zeepkist is following Newtons laws like this then that's nice lol

It all depends on whether the hay gets launched forwards or backwards because Newton's third law works in the game just as well. How fast it detaches from you depends on rotation speed (yielding a lower or greater boost on detach). That's it, nothing else matters to how far you go (at least not as much)

I timed the hay bales on my calculator watch, and accounting for human error, the hay bale releases after like 3-3.5 seconds, consistently

I'm genuinely curious why it seems like you have an easier time validating at the start of the video than finishing in the public lobby. Is it just editing out a bunch of losses, or is it a psychological pressure type deal?

Physics in multiplayer are slightly different which can make quite a difference especially on these types of tracks

@@monarkev I was pretty sure that they unified the physics in one of the updates a little while ago, which is why he can put out tracks like this or the rail grind kacky map and not have to worry about it even possible in multiplayer or not.

Looks to me like what really matters is where the haybale is when it releases for how far you go. If the haybale if flung backwards, you will be flung forwards. If the haybale is flung forwards, you go more backwards. That being said, since there's so much forward momentum, whatever gets flung backwards is still traveling in our forward direction. Conservation of momentum, yo!

I see that the way to do succesful jump is to have the haybale "eject" to your back/bottom because that will launch you forward/up

I was writing a comment about physics before I heard kAN's comment at 6:40. So I deleted it. Actually, his/your brief overview is a little off. When the release happens, centrifugal force does sent hay and cart in opposite directions, but not directly away from each other; they continue on tangents to their orbits. In less jargon, if you're backflipping and the release happens when the hay is behind you, that sends the cart up and the hay down. If it's when the hay is under you, the hay will go forward and the cart will go backward. So you'd want to separate when the hay is over you (and maybe a little behind to bring your vertical speed component close to zero, but there's already a bunch of factors I haven't and won't consider here).
