I Built a FULL SPEED Track and Challenged a Public Lobby!

Hey everyone and welcome back to Zeepkist! Today we're looking at a brand new FULL SPEED track I made to challenge public lobbies with! This track is highly inspired from the Trackmania full speed tracks which were actually my favorites to play!

Can you do a round of this map with no checkpoints to see how interesting the shortcuts would be, or could you make a track that has 2 routes it would be difficult to balance but it would definitely be cool to see

Kan bought zeepkist and played for the first time two days ago. After finishing up to level 7 in adventure I decided "how about playing some online rounds" GUESS THE FIRST MAP I PLAYED IN A FREAKING ONLINE LOBBY. Yes it was indeed this very speed map. I never finished it .

Sometimes it's better to take the corners a littler farther on this type of maps, to hold more speed around it - at least in TM! The attempt before your last one, could have been good, because I think you were a little faster into the last obsticale even though you lost a little time on the last checkpoint

in general it's better to take a wider line, unless you don't need to brake at any point

I used to play Track Mania on my old Nintendo Mii console, when I was little. I used to build a lot of tracks. And those weren't easy. Once, I built an open-world city, with checkpoints scattered around the map 'n stuff. It was glorious! I wish to see you play Track Mania and build your first map.

As someone who plays Trackmania Nations Forever, with the attempt to get Author Medals on all tracks I drive, I must say Full Speed is fun, I attempt to create Full Speed Technical tracks. I will get Zeepkist to do the same, make technical tracks, releasing 2 versions of each, with and without checkpoints. Game seems fun and, if I wasn't subscribed to you, Dapper and Kozmo, I wouldn't know about the game

Your comment about stacking the boosters reminded me of one of the "Need for Speed" games that that I used to have for the PS2. One of the things you could do was customize the look of your ride with graphic overlays that would give a boost to the rating of how it looked. You could have up to 4 of them per ride, and what I would do if I had the funds was get 4 of the same graphic and use them in a way that it would look like there was only a single graphic but I was getting the effects of all 4 of them.

I noticed you can cheese the first part when you hit the first checkpoint you can just jump down to the second one without having to do the loop.

I think you'll overshoot the 2nd checkpoint unless you brake hard which then would be slower than just taking the quarter feature. I should probably test that though...

It took me too long to realize why the right trigger raises your hands... I also spent too long wondering where 'acceleration' is... I guess that's a compliment for your course. It's so fast that someone, who isn't familiar with the game, will think there's a "go" button. The TM feel definitely aided to the brain blank too, so you did a really good job!

on the upward spiral the checkpoint is far out of the exit i think you could jump half-way up and land on the bumps 11:58 im only halfway through watching tho wouldnt be surprised if dapper tries it

The "pourpoising" seems to be a bigger influence on your times right now, it seemed to be the main tell of when you lost sector time, particuarly on first 270 corner and second loop-de-loop.

*porpoising isn't just the car being sucked to the ground due to downforce it's the "jumping" effect that's caused by it (car has a lot of downforce, gets close to the ground due to it, gets too close, scrapes, loses downforce, repeat)

Its almost impossible to make an auto map due to zeepkist having inconsistent physics, trackmania has deterministic physics which means that if you do every input exactly the same you will get the same result, here you could do the exact same thing and get different results every time. Its impossible in this game due to how the physics work :(

video/series idea for scrap mechanic: start a new co-op survival with kosmo BUT, you add in scrapman and/or dapper depending on who is available and when. (P.S. i just thought this would be a really funny idea to try out its up to you whether or not you actually do this)

Speaking about stealing track design style from trackmania, you could try making safe and risky paths, like oftenly in the cup of the day tracks they have at least a risky finish which is faster but more difficult or has a speed check so you need to nail the ending to be able to get to it. Cool track tho, I really felt the trackmania spirit. Also at 9:38 you may be able to jump off the corkscrew and land before the checkpoint. However, in the trackmania spirit, cheese and being able to cut tracks is a very important aspect of the game, of course a cut that just defeat the whole track might be too much, but having a couple places where you can cut at a great risk makes for pretty cool tracks usually. See it as a safe/risky path thing.

I made a game as a kid. (Child) Playground-Gravel + Stick + Marble = Game. Was actually fun... until the marble broke. Draw square - add 4 corners.... 1point 2 point 3 point - you choose, i cant remember the rules was 25 years ago. Something like throw the marble in the middle for 3 points, 2 on the line 1 outside the boarders. Play with 4 People? just add a target in the middle of the square vs the corners. Then what? 2 Players... You target the empty squares and retrieve the misses to reload. Don't use a marble... try a small rocks that don't blend in to the ground. This morning....
