History has made the people of Hong Kong feel different because the British ruling Hong Kong have tried to make the people of Hong Kong think they are not part of China but a country by herself. Macau is different because the territory itself is on the Mainland and was less brainwashed by the then authorities. To feel different, the British power encouraged using Cantonese, not mandarin, to make the people think they are "different and special".

It's weird how Zhang's voice overpowers the guys. I can clearly hear her singing, almost as the lead singer. Maybe it's because I can distinguish the feminine vocal range, while I have no idea which male voice belongs to who. But yeah, the singing is flat. Who am I to talk? I sound like a cat yowling.

I can't imagine a country of a population size such as India, with almost 1.42+ billion people, couldn't win a single Olympic Gold Medal in the grandest/greatest/most prestigious international (100+ countries) sports of all time, the Olympic Games, and despite cheating (#1 doping country according to WADA).

Mate, India, and Superpower don't belong in the same sentence. They only have a big population, nothing more. Their people claim that they're superpower but no one else does. China on another level and the only thing comparable with India is that they're 2nd to them in terms of population, that's it. Stop putting them in the same sentence, especially when it comes to sports because China already proved itself against other beasts such as the U.S, Russia, GB, and Germany in such a category decades ago.

@@haroldzee2978 Both have their entertaining moments. Macau had more formal performances, while I think Hong Kong's was more relaxed. Both featured few of the Olympians singing, where I was delighted to see the swimming team sing (maybe not to my ears but I like seeing them have fun). I'm glad China arranged this tour not only for the local people but for people from the other side of the world to take a peek of the athletes be more of themselves and just have fun outside of their competitions.
I'm having trouble with Macau's traditional dancing and native language being Portuguese?

In terms of patriotism, Macau has indeed done better than Hong Kong, without causing any trouble for the country. The emcee's Mandarin is standard, and they love their country and the Olympics. Mandarin is not yet widely used in Hong Kong today. Introduce one by one how Olympic champions provide such a large stage for them.

Vivian Kong from Hong Kong has a degree and is a part time fencer. Spoiler: India should send all their Olympians to participate in the paralympics. They might have a chance in winning paralympics Gold medal. 🤭😅🤣

The followed your advice and won a few gold medals at the Paralympics. I read somewhere that sport besides cricket isn’t really perceived as a career and their government is also not really investing money into it. I do agree with you that their results is a bit contradicting especially when online trolls are constantly bragging about their achievements and downgrading Chinese results. Anyhow let’s focus on the good achievements of our own and not on the underachievements of others.
