Yes, this guy is making some mistakes. But it's still a really good video for learning this Kata! I haven't found any better ones on Yt. As I haven't done this Kata before, I don't need to focus on details but on the techniques.

si se van a decir errores diganlo de manera buena para corregir ya que los que practicamos karate tenemos que ayudarnos no es una competencia el karate do no se compite todos somos hermanos del camino por decir los 20 errores no te hace mejor karateka di los errores que el sensei presente en el video para que mejore no para menos preciar su esfuerzo cada quien tiene sus fortalezas y debilidades muchas gracias por el video sensei oss

In serious Dojo's, you can't get not even the 6th kyu if your zenkutsu and kokutsu dachi are this bad. This kind of mistake is tolerated in the first exam of kids that are below 12y old.

Karate is the particular marital art. Shotokan is the type (or system) of karate being done (there are others), and kanku dai is the name of the particular kata (set of moves) that he is doing.

Kicks are SIDE KICKS not ROUND HOUSE KICKS . Punches and kick weak no definition , they shake as striking Wrist and fingers at KNIFE BLOCKS OR STRIKE , fingers need to be together not apart, wrist straight not folded or twisted. NO KIME

I had the privilege and honour to train at Takushoku Diagaku, Tokyo in the 70's for a number of years. A must humbling and brutal Experience. Godan...???? My Japanese Masters and Junior Instructors would just nod their heads, laugh and say nothing.
