That is a very fair statement, Mekakucity Actors is something else. You really kinda have to have background knowledge on the Kagerou Project to appreciate scenes like this

@@jayd.doubledubs I've been in fandom for a very long time and seeing the anime was a huge disappointment. Not because of the plot (though some dialogues were REAALY bad), it's the studio making itself. It's horrible on so many levels.

@@Rinzeki02 You're entitled to your opinion, and I respect that. On several occasions, I agree with you, the anime looks like trash. But it never lost the endearing feeling of the Kagerou Project, imo, and so the anime being so wack and unconventional fits the Kagerou series, again imo.
