It's -10C here in Northern Europe and snowing in December 2021, I'm drunk and I just remembered this great anime series I watched in, was it 2006 or 2007. I still remember waiting for a new episode every Friday. I think it was usually subbed by the time I went to bed. Such an atmospheric series to watch in the winter back then. Those were the good times. I haven't watched any anime in years but it still feels like anime scene was the only place I belonged to.

AGREED! :D I love anything that has Key involved in some way, shape, or form. So sad and well drawn with excellent music! Yuichi and Ayu were so cute ^w^ Tomoya and Nagisa were my favorite though. Otanashi (can't remember his first name XP) and Kanade were cute but I'd have to put them in third place compared to the other two couples. All in all they're all great and well developed anime!

今kanonを見終えた所です。 作品の情景は冬であり、この時期にピッタリのアニメでした。 keyの作品はクラナドとABだけ見ていて素晴らしいものとは分かっていましたが、kanonはkeyのなかでも最も古いので正直見るまでに抵抗がありました。 ですがいざ見始めると続きがきになりとても引き込まれるアニメだなと感銘を受けました。 少し前のアニメならではのノスタルジックを感じさせ、作品に感情移入がしやすかったのもこの作品の良さの大きな所でした。何と言っても世界観がかわりましたね。 最近こういった感動アニメが減り続けているので、こういうアニメがもっと増えると良いなっと、 長く語りましたがw 一言でまとめるととても感動できる素晴らしいアニメでした！ ありがとうございました！

7月、事故の少し前に北海道に行く機会があったのでこれはと思いKanonの聖地に行ってきた。もちろん雪が積もっているわけでもなかったが来れて良かったと心から感動した。 地元京都に帰ってきた直後の18日に火災が起こった。にわかには信じられなかった。 僕のように北海道と聞けばKanon所縁に行きたくなる人も少なくないだろう、特にこの曲を聴いているような方々は。自身にとって心の依り代としてKanonが根付いているのを僕は嬉しく思う。今回少し時間が出来たのでアニメを観返していたが、やはりあの雰囲気は泣きそうになるほどに美しく、懐かしかった。 京アニは、間違いなく僕らの人生に多少なりと影響を及ぼしている。豊かな人生への感謝と、そして今度の事故での殉教者に哀悼を捧げたい。 Pray for Kyoani.

JROCK50054 I can't remember if I binge-watched Kaze no Stigma before or after this, but for that break, it was just Netflix and KZbin (back before all this heavy-handed copyright crap started happening). Do you know any other good anime like this? Where there is a light suspense, but it's not a creepy suspense, just a sort of mystery. And the focus is on the characters mostly. And I like that this had the right blend between comedy and drama. Too many anime feel the need to be one or the other, which can be a bit of a bother when you want to watch something that is kind of light but not silly or typical anime humor....

JROCK50054 For some reason I can't remember, I've been putting off watching Clannad. I don't know about Little Busters, so I'll see if that interests me. I've been trying to watch Angel Beats for 4 years and I'm only on episode 5 or so. It is so boring to me and I don't find it funny either. THe only reason why I'm going to try to keep watching it is because it apparently has a really sad ending. Air, I can't remember if I am stalling on watching that or if I don't want to watch it (I only started an online anime list at the beginning of this year, so there is still a lot of anime I need to get organized about).... If you have the time, I recommend playing the Visual Novel "Rewrite". It's by Key, the same guys who made Kanon, Angel Beats, Clannad, Little Busters, and it's considered by many, Key's best work. And if you'd rather watch something, watch Steins;Gate. Lots of heartbreaking drama, mostly later on.

I really love Key company's ideas for anime. They're all mysterious and i LOVE mysterious anime. I know what you mean, I thought the same before I saw it. I was scared as hell and I didn't really feel well at the beginning, it was to much psychology at once. But even higurashi with all of it's gore has a beautiful story, the ending will define what friendship really is. People don't have this in mind when they watch it, it's a story about friendship, not just senseless torture. I really do recommend it :)

makoto is a fox in human form, if you look at foxes in nature her actions at the end were parallel to how foxes truly are, playful one minute and shy the next, they did their research well when the writer designed her character. they are very smart animals, like elephants they remember.
