Kansas City weather: More snow possible, with more south of the metro area

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory from 5 p.m. Thursday to 9 a.m. Friday for portions of east-central Kansas and central and west-central Missouri. Counties included in the advisory are Miami County, Kansas; Linn County, Kansas; Cass County, Missouri; Johnson County, Missouri; Pettis County, Missouri; Cooper County, Missouri; Bates County, Missouri; and Henry County, Missouri.
