Can I seriously just say thank you for this? I've had Rheumatoid Arthritis since I was 7 but went through a decently long remission in my teens and I LOVED road trips. Being a California girl made it even easier to love Route 66. It's kind of weird how I found you because I missed working for Disney and all the magic I found there, but now you've taken me down a road I literally drove down before and cannot even attempt at the moment due to health restraints. Justin, one day people will see the absolute heart in these videos and you'll be repaid for all this incredible effort. But until that happens please know the work you are doing for some of us is priceless.

I'm enjoying it for a similar reason... I have an autoimmune illness and I absolutely love travelling across the deserts of Australia and through small strange towns, but at the moment it is just not possible. This is really filling that void! On top of that it's just quality information he's passing on... he's not just doing it for the sake of it, he's doing it because he's so deeply interested in the locations and their stories.

I first came across your videos searching for Route 66 documentaries. Wasn't even sure if it still existed. Originally from Australia it's stuff like you show that was the huge inspiration for my passion with America. I now live over here and am yet to travel outside of the Pacific Northwest. But let me tell you...your journey really makes me anxious to take some time off and travel. Thanks for all you do Justin! Safe and fun travels!

I've been on Route 66 one time back in 2012 travelling on highway 40 from California to Tennessee. My favorite part of the trip was New Mexico. Both that state and Route 66 inspired me to write my second book. Very memorable experience.

So a couple things in commerce you skipped around Mickey Mantle. Just behind you on the otherwise of his statue sits some toxic water. In fact it's super toxic! It comes from the Picher-Cardin mine area. You can literally see it from the statue. It comes out from underneath the school area. The garage/barn where you were at is where Mickey Mantle was taught to be one of the best switch hitters ever! His father and grandfather would throw to him and he would have to try and hit it over the barn. There are a lot of abandoned buildings in such in that area. Route 66 runs right along that toxic area but it's sort of been suppressed. I would say the majority of people that drive on route 66 there have no idea they are driving over the most toxic water in the U.S. Sounds crazy but it's true!

I just found your channel 2 days ago while my husband and I watched Disney vlogs. It was the one where hurricane Matthew was about to hit Disney World. I wanted to watch your other video you did about the aftermath of the storm but it was too late so I had to just do it another day. Today I thought I'd look for that video so I go to your channel and click on your videos and see you are in Kansas. I got curious because I know Kansas doesn't have much of route 66. I'm going to make this short. I live in Miami, OK. lol So it was extremely weird to see somebody that goes to Disney alot come by this small town. My husband and I go to Disney once a year and we are always watching Disney Vlogs. I just got to say you are seriously hilarious. You got a new sub not because you came by this small town but because of that ending. LOL Also I learned alot. I didn't know all this stuff was so near by where I live. I'm originally from the 909 area in California and it was cool to see you are from Anaheim. Anyways going to go watch all your videos now lol.

LOL...i was just telling my teen daughter about a trip i took to the Hoover Dam and jumping back and forth between states and time zones there....look it's 1 o clock, look its 2 o clock..1 o clock again...LOL I cracked up when you did it with the state line. You need to make a side trip to the spot where all 3 states meet (OK, MO, KS ) it is near the Downstream casino and is one of our stops west for our trip next year and we will be hitting Galena and friends up on the way back.

Dude....lol you need to get back to Baxter Springs. Things are happening here. About 75 percent of downtown has been bough and the other 25 seems to be being bought. It looks a lot different right now. Still working on it but wont be to much longer it will be done. Also Commerce might be where Mickey was born. But Baxter is where he got his baseball start playing for a semi pro team call the Baxter Wizkids. But for real you need to get back here soon. If you do I will be happy to pay your dinner any where. But you would really like Cafe on the Route. Also Towmater needs to be moved to Baxter since Radiator Springs was a reflection of Baxter Springs in the movie. Good video though.
