That was not a correct targeting call on Daniel Green in the 1st half of this ballgame. It changed the entire course of the ballgame. He did a great job of form tackling Spencer Sanders to the ground and should not have been ejected from the game. K-State will recover from this

@@alexkain8564 it was 31 to 13 at half and they had there backup and your third string played really they didn't have a chance unless Oklahoma State played bad offense and what change the game was changed the game was the bad snap that from k state the fumbled to the end zone and pokes recovered and I hope they bounce back a we'll and Thompson plays as well and beat Oklahoma

No they didn’t. The one on Green was completely bogus. No reason to eject a player on a play like that when he obviously did not lead with the helmet. His head was on the side of Spencer Sanders body. Great tackle and yes one player does make a difference

I think it was more their competitions ineptness than greatness or they wouldn't have been shut out in second half and on the one replay you see Green's helmet go to the side right before contact and was not targeting but had no impact on the outcome

I could argue it changed it for the better. Lewis came in to a hostile environment in his first real action (was 2 for 3 in the Nevada game) and threw better than a guy who at this point has an entire year of starting under his belt. We have to have some kind of passing threat or Vaughn will continue to get bottled up.
