They couldnt get the Ra (Maruvinnen) as in Malayalam. And the Ra in Varunmen iha..... There are two Ra sounds in Malayalam. Flat Ra. And rounded full Ra. Beautifully rendered.

My ever first exposure to a Neelambari composition was “Kantanoodu” by Akkas in their MMU concert!!! From then, this had been my every time favourite! And today Akka’s singing it again with full charisma & happiness gave me immense ecstatic feel ! Neelambari just thrives and holds everyone tightly with its sheer love & that too in Akkas ultimately magical voices & the sedative Kalapramanam; it’s just becomes a zestful experience! ❤

There are some kritis of Swathi Thirunal wherein he hasn't used his usual mudras in it. However, in this kriti, there is a reference to Vasudeva Sutan in the charanam which indicates Krishna. So kanthnodu chennu melle is not entirely devoid of Vishnu.
