I'm from Mangalore , this is one of the best explanation about the movie 2 things to note , 1 . Absolutely no connection with Varaha avataram with Panjurli , MOST of the daiva's are Shiva Ganas . 2 . There are 1000's of daivas in Tulunad (Kundapur to Kasargod) , each has its own way of dressing so old pic shown of Daiva dressing is different daiva

1. I want to add a point along with what u said about parallel universe. The circle of light where dad n son disappears is like black hole, where nothing can escape from it and it also might be the time travel for other universes. 2. Actually Panjurli deity handed the complete village responsibility to Kishore/Murali in the climax. Actually Murali was indirectly involved in protecting the village. Mayan, good thoughts on the portal at 19.35. My view was at the start of the movie, when the king was asking for Daiva (stone) , Panjurli daiva responds to King's request. The response was, I will come with Guliga (Daiva) and If you misuse, I (Panjurli) may forgive, but Guliga wnot. Now to the last of the movie, Guliga Daiva takes Shiva to kill the villain. Finally, Both the Daivas meet again. Guliga Daiva has the third eye and Panjurli does not. Thats the difference I saw.

So it is like God has given the hero a chance to live to perform kola aattam and when it is done his purpose of life is done. 3. You can also note that in the beginning of the movie, hero is scared of the spiritual boar and in the later part he chases panchruli who was in boar form. It means the transformation of the hero.

When Shiva was occupied by panjuruli heroine was not pregnant but when boodha kolla festival she was shown as pregnant...7 to 10 months baby bump.....if Shiva was killed by the villain and he occupied by deity spirit .... Then boodha kolla happened on the same night or after few months (this is a doubt for me )...if it happened after few months did Shiva survived or lived with his own spirit or as deity spirit....plz explain this
