It's not fiction, any Mangalorean family will have Panjurlu, Varte and Guliga as their family deity and the Kola which happens will be similar, While Panjurli and other daivas kola is non agressive but the goliga one is always ferocious. Normally they hold the person so that he doesn't run beyond certain limits since it's believed that if he goes out of certain boundary it's difficult to find him alive. This kola of Guliga is normally the last one and starts around 3AM or so.
