Just happened, I found an incredibly beautiful performance of gusli, when was typed in the search slavic music and I was shown an unique performance on slavic gusli (helmet-sharped psaltery) by one russian guslar Kirill Bogomilov. I was incredibly inspired by his performance and at his youtube channel, I learned that it turns out there is an ancient slavic tradition of this instrument and that slavic gusli was banned in Russia for more than 200 years! Gusli was burned at the stake in the Middle Ages as a magical devilish instrument! Unbelievably!!! I've never heard anything about it before, and now I've found your channel with music on this amazing instrument. Thank you so much for this perfomance!

I found Kirill Bogomilov's perfomance on gusli here kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3eZqn-EoZ6Ci9U Thank you very much for the hint! It's really interesting and informative for me. My relatives were from Russia and that's probably why I really like this music instrument.

This music is hauntingly beautiful. I looked for slavic gusli... It actually brought me to tears from the very first sound. However, it sounds so familiar, that now I seriously consider that I used to live in one slavic country in one of my previous lives!

@@anabelpalomo8724Well it's Finnish song so not really Slavic, but we have same tendency to melancholy 😊 If song sounds familiar, reason might be that it was ringtone in old Nokia phones 😂
