How do these compare to the Klipsch r-41pm or the r-51pm?

Maybe a little softer-around-the-edges. Still a really great set of powered speakers

I’m having trouble getting the Bluetooth on my iPhone to the speaker does the speaker need to charge to work
@crutchfield Жыл бұрын
No, these are not battery powered speakers and require no charging to work. They must be plugged into a power outlet to work. The owner's manual does cover some troubleshooting steps to help resolve Bluetooth issues. We keep a PDF copy of the owner's manual on our web site with the link to download it found in the What's in the box section of its webpage. Also, if you purchased your Kanto powered speakers from us, you can call our technical support using their toll free phone number that we include on the order invoice.

Music only 2.0 stereo use. Small room. Which ones or Tuk's? (problem is i'm on a low end Edifier udget and am grappling with letting go of retirement dollars i'll probably need in a year or two!). Want to get these as eventually they will probably move me out of my big house (retirement) and i'll need a great compact, uncomplicated set up. Thanks.

Congrats on your retirement! What speaker brands do you tend to love the sound of most? Are there any other inputs or features you need?

I just want to make sure if these are true stereo speakers, because on the Amazon page, the company doesn't mention anything about stereo. Also, if I were to pair them with the subwoofer, would the pair still have stereo sound?
@crutchfield3 жыл бұрын
Hi Alejandro. This is a stereo pair (left and right). If you add a subwoofer they will still continue to be stereo.

Hi, great video but I wish someone would do a video on using these with your tv, Are they better than a sound bar?

Thanks for covering these. Especially the nuance about them turning on again if something is played from the same source again - that's neat :) I am looking for powered speakers for my TV and to hookup my chromecast audio (movie + music mixed usage) would you please recommend a few I can consider along with these which I can buy in Germany? Thanks!
@crutchfield4 жыл бұрын
We've got a lot of choices similar to these Kanto speakers here in the USA. I'm not sure which of them would be sold in Germany. You may need to contact the manufacturer's on that. Here's some of the most popular models: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYTVc227/g_463050/Powered-Stereo-Speakers.html?tp=72535&pg=2&o=p#&nvpair=FFBrand|Audioengine&nvpair=FFBrand|Klipsch&nvpair=FFBrand|SVS

If you connect e.g. Ifi zen dac v2 to the powered Kanto UY6 (or UY4) , is that a nice combo to improve the sound ? something to invest in ?
@crutchfield3 жыл бұрын
The iFi Zen DAC V2 is a better DAC than the one built into the speakers and will definitely improve the sound output from the speakers!

If I connect to them using bluetooth, does it disable the aux cable input that's going into it? And then when Bluetooth is turned of, it plays the aux cable audio again?
@crutchfield2 жыл бұрын
The source being played is chosen by cycling through the sources using the controls on the speaker or the buttons on the remote. Because of this source selection ability, the aux audio input and Bluetooth cannot be played at the same time. The one being played must be selected from the list of sources.

are these good to use for a PC ? which source do you use to connect them ?...thx from Canada
@crutchfield3 жыл бұрын
The Kanto YU4 are a popular choice for PC Audio. You can connect any source that is compatible with the dual Toslink optical digital audio inputs, analog stereo RCA input with phono switch, or analog 3.5mm auxiliary input. You'll find them via our Canadian site here: www.crutchfield.ca/I-rYTVc921/p_310YU4MB/Kanto-YU4-Matte-Black.html

Are these capable of being placed on their side (for saving space) without the audio sounding different?
@crutchfield4 жыл бұрын
We do not test them on their side to know if their sound changes when laid on their sides. We may have powered speakers that will better fit the location. I recommend contacting an advisor to check. Here's how to reach us for this help: www.crutchfield.com/I-rYTVc227/support/ContactUs.aspx

2:00 🏛🎶 Why buy an ugly stand when you could have the Kanto's atop greek columns? I searched "greek column pedestal" on Amazon and an EMSCO 32" greenish faux (resin) marble stand costs $49.94. The red speakers would kind of pop against antiquated green.
@skny22823 жыл бұрын
Dare you want to place a top heavy speaker on a 32” tall lightweight resin “column”. Good luck on not having an accident. Factory stand not only has a heavy bottom weight add on also has metal plate under speaker to screw into.

I'm wondering how the YU4 compare to the new Q Acoustics m20?
@crutchfield2 жыл бұрын
The Q Acoustics have a slightly better bass response, and support AptX HD bluetooth from compatible Android devices. The Yu4 are going to be a bit softer on the highs with their silk dome tweeter.

Kanto YU6 or klipsch r51? which one is better?
@crutchfield3 жыл бұрын
this will depend on preference. The Klipsch will be brighter and more crisp, while the Kanto will be more reserved and warm. This is due to the design of the tweeters. for more personalized help, reach out to an advisor! bit.ly/2KP1zS3
