Streamers can be connected to commercial amplifiers. We recommend making sure you use a streamer that gives you access to legally licensed music for the application. A home theater receiver can stream music files from a NAS drive. They cannot stream videos. If your TV does not stream them, then you will need a device that can. Also, the wireless surround gear in that kit appears to need a receiver that has preamp outputs for the surround channels. The Kenwood Excelon X450-4 amplifier is no longer available for purchase with Crutchfield. It delivers 60-watts RMS from channels 1/2 and 100-watts RMS from channels 3/4 (4-ohm speakers).

Yes, you can get a 3.5mm mono extension cable with a female connection on one end and male connection on the other, long enough to extend from the closet where it is located to the listening area to place the microphone.

Yes, the Sony XAV-AX4000 has a built-in AM/FM tuner. You can store up to 6 presets each in FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1 and AM2 (total: 18 FM/12 AM). Do you have S, SL, or SV model? What type of cab?

You can maintain your factory camera using this radio and an iDatalink installation package. When you are replacing the radio in this vehicle, we recommend that you replace the low-impedance factory speakers with standard 4-ohm aftermarket speakers (or add an aftermarket amplifier) to prevent overheating and other damage to your new radio. You can't use two amplifiers to power one JBL Arena 12 subwoofer. It only has one set of speaker terminals and a selectable impedance switch. There are several factors involved in that decision, such as the type/amount of bass you like, the amount of space you are willing to sacrifice, etc. But for general recommendations, if you prefer tighter, more accurate bass, a 10" subwoofer is typically a great way to go. If the goal is stronger, deeper overall bass, then a larger 12" sub works well.

The JBL BassHub passive subwoofer requires a separate amplifier and can be used with factory speakers. Often folks will want more crisp detail and clarity from their speakers after installing a subwoofer like the JBL BassHub, so aftermarket upgraded speakers are always a good idea!

Very pleased with the setup. Had the exn connected to exa via balanced in power amp mode. Unbalanced connections connected to avr for ht bypass. Now I connect the hdmi earc to exa100 there is no sound. Would cambridge come with firmware to allow simultaneous hdmi to work with poweramp mode? The exa dac is much superior to the receiver and I prefer to use the cambridge dac.

When in power amp mode, the Cambridge Audio EXA100 would need an external preamp/source for any signal and the HDMI input will not provide any sound. When power amp mode is turned off, you'll need to choose 2CH PCM for the audio output from the TV. Currently firmware is not available to provide the HDMI audio input features when using power amp mode.

If you are connecting it to the stereo's 12V turn-on output and the amp's turn-on input, then its likely one of those two products are malfunctioning and we recommend contacting technical support to troubleshoot further to determine which is causing the issue.
