Whoa....... I just placed a deposit on a pair of YU6, in walnut. But I really really wanted them in RED......I have a red Rega T/T. I contacted the local distributor (Australia) only to be told "no longer made". So off I went and put down a deposit on the walnut. Now I see the red is still (sorta) being made. Is it possible to get a Red YU6 in Australia ??

Can i play from my mobile with just a paur of powered speakers

Powered speakers are better, for they give us the (watts, ohm) matching speaker and amplifier. For technical people who prefer making their own speakers, passive is good.

What about active loudspeakers? For all active sounds above powered and passive

No difference in sound quality? The only reason for me to bother with all of that research and complexity would be better sound quality for lesser bucks. Let's say 1000 dollar active, do they sound just as good as a 1000 dollar active? I know you can tweak a passive more to the sound of your liking but let's say both have the sound profile you like (like warm and dynamic or analytical)

I also don’t understand why the sound qualities weren’t compared. WTF
