I felt the Holy Spirit hearing you say this album made you feel better, and that makes me so happy. I had the feeling that God had touched you though hearing Kanye’s journey. I nearly cried listening to your struggle a couple months back during a livestream, I could feel your struggle, and I remember praying for you, praying that you don’t harm yourself, that in some way, you received the healing you needed to continue living on, and now I know for certain that He answered my prayers. I don’t know what has been going on in your life as of now. Maybe you lost something, someone you love, or maybe you have made a mistake so terrible that you could never forgive yourself. Maybe, you’re looking to fill a hole in your heart that was created long ago, yet you could not place a finger on what or where it came from. I have good news for you, Dillon. There is somewhere, someone, and some time you can do this. If you’re at home, in a car, at the airport, you can talk to God, the one person who has not, and will *never* judge you for your wrongdoings. And the second thing you can do to receive God’s glory, is confess with your mouth that *Jesus is Lord,* and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. If you do that, you will be saved, guaranteed. I hope this helps, let me know if there’s anything you need.

Strong agree as far I see it as him being true to himself and making what he wants to make, and it being different, and that being way better than to try and rehash old ideas that he’s already done. The Yahndi leak had some cool tracks but nothing that was really new or inventive as far as Kanye goes, nothing that struck me like this album is striking me.

I loved this album. I had some issues with the mixing and just the fact that some of the ideas felt like they weren’t completely fleshed out. Some of these songs could have been longer. I liked the beat switch ups but I felt like some of them happened too quickly. He was jumping from one idea to the next very fast. Regardless, I really enjoy the album and would give it an 8.5 so far

Mike Silverii kind of annoying how amazing it could be with more development.

I appreciate this reaction video. As a Christian I’ve never listened to one single song of Kanye’s but after this album drop I’m a full on fan! I had no idea he was such a freakin genius! Btw, there’s a whole underground movement of independent Christian hip hop artists who are extremely talented. (Sho Baraka, Jeremiah Dirt, Sup the Chemist, Selah the Corner, Montell Fish, Propaganda, Eshon Burgundy, and a grip more). You have to dig for these ones like diggin in dirty record crates. Kanye West "Jesus is King" album is awesome! Soooooo refreshing. It's the best thing I have heard in gospel music in a long time. I am happy for Kanye. I salute him because of his born again testimony. The music and lyrics are so beautiful and touch my soul. I cried when I heard the album. Rather than judging him, I encourage him to continue on and pray for him and his collective's strength as they spread the good news of the gospel. It really matter what others think . It is between him and the creator his maker God.

To be honest music from way back when came from the church. People would go there and let it all out before they have to go back to the grind on Mondays especially to those without. It's the soul that speaks and creates these music. Can't fault gospel though. It's always been healing.

Great review! I appreciated your honest raw opinion! I think the album has many really high highs, tho the tracks often feel stunted or too short, like we're just about to get to the meat of the song then it ends. I guess wanting more of it isn't necessarily a bad thing. 8/10 for me :) Peace.
