Brandy Pompeo Acts 2:4 “All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the spirit enables them” Acts 19:6 “When Paul places his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied.” Mark 16:17 “And these signs will accompany those who believe; In my name they will drive our demons; they will speak in new tongues;” This is a really IMPORTANT VERSE 1 Corinthians 14:2 “For anyone who speaks in a tongue does not speak to people but to God. Indeed no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit.” These are few of many verses on the topic of speaking in tongues, it is biblical and it is how the spirit gives us utterance. I have been speaking in tongues for years now it is how I give glory to God, it is proof of the almighty Holy Spirit of Jesus. As for the verse that u stated you have misinterpreted it, it actually talks about why speaking in other tongues is holy and biblical.

Dope album. Master piece. I don’t know if the people hating on it is just because he mentions Jesus a lot but those who love music, it doesn’t get better than Kanye.
@darko12955 жыл бұрын
I mean, beats are dope but lyrical content is mostly bad. And the Jesus shit is preachy and self-absorbed as fuck.
@denispineda14695 жыл бұрын
Well he did say it was a gospel rap album, and was done doing secular music. We listen to trash everyday that does nothing good to our soul, Finally we get some fire music with some positive lyrics.

Denis Pineda idk who we is but not everybody listens to the generic radio play that everyone deems is trash there is music out here that is amazing that you got to look for

Denis Pineda well said brother. I can’t dislike this. Sonically amazing, and lyrically uplifting.

Artistically, Ye went minimalist, purist and experimental. This is an art piece album as well as a positive spiritual experience that fuses a carefree simplicity with hip hop, gospel and straight up Ye. We want artists to give us our favorite aspects of their craft but they are prophets on a creative development journey that transcends the pop culture. If we truly love an artist and their gift; we will go on that journey with them and allow them the freedon of expression they need in their art. Not many albums can make us feel like this album does and I think Ye was more THAT...more of a spiritual immersion than ctanking out a mainstream sound. It felt like he was having fun with it and, like y'all said, testing the new waters. Thanks for the vid!

I listened to this album because of the hype. It's literally the first thing I've ever heard from Kanye because I am a 53 year old white lady who grew up before rap became a thing. I haven't been to church since I was a kid so I wasn't expecting much, I was just curious. This album made me cry. In 50 years I think this is going to be looked at as a monumental shift in American culture.

Gospel has to do with acknowledging and praising God, not self...if you don’t Love God you may not vibe to it...I love it personally....I can even play it around my kid.

That’s a big thing for me too. There is nothing at all in that album that I should be ashamed of or keep from my children. I can’t say that about half these famous artists and a lot of Christian musicians do the same repetitive thing, this is refreshing but still FOCUSED. It’s straight gospel. Its EXACTLY what I want my kids to hear, especially since they’d like the sound that Kanye is famous for.
