Getting Your 4 Star Gear to MAX | PSO2:NGS

Tip for leveling Silver Primm Swords to +20! Start by only enhancing with 3 Primm swords, if there is no great success it will get to +14, but if there is a great success it will bump up to +20 and save you from using 2 extra Primm Swords, AND save a little N-meseta and a couple N-Grinders as well. If the first enhance only goes to +14, you can then use just one more Silver Sword to try for another great success, which would also get it to +20, saving you 1 extra Sword. If there are no great successes, then you would still end up using 5 Silver swords as fodder and would not lose out on anything. It's a little more work, but you can only gain from it.

Well, to advance in the history you need battle points, so i think that you need to invest the minimun to complete the history at least, after that you can just hold the money and materials

@@nNinelie yes that goes without saying, but i still did it all with a +30 1* weapon which was so much cheaper than everthing else. with +5 hp or +1 ranged potentital and other weak but usefull augments and just leveled as needed to hit the bp needed. Now i can level other classes with just a unpgraded 4* on resol forest which has no bp requirement, then i can switch to lab or whatever when the class levels up a bit.

Im new player to PSO2 NGs… but i do have alot of MMo experience.. i did this i hold op all my materials and meseta.. I started with 3 thesus armor with lv2 fix that i bought from personal shop and weapon using it until level 13.. some how i get all my 20 skill points and get my battle power 1184 enough to do urgent quest.. You are very true theres no need to spend amount of fund in game atm. all i see just a premium emotes and skins.. those not contribute to power.. Ill just holding my meseta and material once i reached max level and continue farming stuff. 🙂

Personally I am thinking 2* or 3* units with fixa might be the better way to go if you are wanting to plan for the future and save meseta.

This is why im sticking with my 8 slot klauz units til we get 5 star units. I already feel like a tank maining fighter with my klauz units and as long as im not getting 1 shot, its basically impossible for me to die assuming i dont run out of restasignes. No point in wasting resources on gear that makes me tankier but removes a ton of damage from lack of affixes.

@TheMrDarkrider If you have shop pass then you can grind for resurgirs to sell on market. Trials also give some money. You can also hunt green chests and sell the n-grinders for meseta.

As someone who plays FGO on mobile, this is literally CE bombs. or as I could call them here sword bombs. Idk why I didn't think of this earlier, but this is super useful. Don't know if anyone else here plays FGO, but I feel a little stupid not thinking of this sooner

I'm still curious, though.. what's better over all: * Fully augmented Klauz weapon with 8 slots * +40 NGS 4* weapon augmented appropriately I know the NGS weapons (and units..) catch up quickly in terms of raw damage/defense, but do the augments on the Klauz items make up for that?

When fully maxed, and augmented towards one main weapon it will outperform PSO2 units. However, you will save far more resources by simply sticking with your pre-built gear.

Currently working on maxing out my force. I have my 4 star rod at I believe +35 when I logged off, only needing 5 more levels, the level 3 potential, and 1 more augment. However its the units that are killing me, Im currently relying on the free ozf set upgraded that they gave out long ago since Im too lazy to keep swapping my main units, but I have a belta Ive been slowly grinding. Currently at about ~1.2k bp, but im really hoping later down rhe line they add silver/gold armor fodder since the current cost is crazy.

Okay, it seems like alot for units, and it is, right now me and my alliance aren't spending meseta on units until gigantix is released next week, theres speculation that he may drop 5* units or something, if he does, then we'll spend the meseta there, BUT he doesnt, we have 2months worth of farming until next tier gear, so making 4* units will be fine assuming you can afford it

isnt it more usefull to use theseus armor instead of tzvia armor to upgrade your units? +20 tzvia armor 2450exp and +15 theseus armor 2975 exp both cost 30k. Don't know if its worth to +30 didnt try it but 1 got a great success and went to +20 which gives 4287 exp.

1. Depends on if you want more damage and damage reduction for the current content. the new Giga monsters will come out june 23 and you will need to have decent gear to kill them in time, because they have timers and will disappear after a given time after they spawn. after that Katana class come out in august and bouncer with defensive missions releases sometime in fall. (there is a road map on website of all this) new classes will be added which means thier gear will be added. we dont know if the defensive missions will add 5 star+ but if it doesnt then dont expect 5 star till december with the lvl cap increase.

As much as I would like to follow this route. I am just going to chill with my PSO2 stuff until I get enough resources myself and we get better units, rarity and weapons out shadowing PSO2, gear/this gear by a good margin. No point in wasting all my stuff for this lol. Thanks for the tips though.

Theres a good chance you will be waiting 6 months down the line. Unless defense quest brings in higher rarity gear, you will have to wait till winter when the level bump and new areas are unlocked. I think it would be good to try ad min max 1 weapon to make fighting the gigas a bit easy on release on the 23rd of june.

The weapons are 100% Worth it imo. the Units are debatable. Higher Defense by a long margin, less potency if you had God Units.

You take less damage if you get hit, which is bound to happen if you are playing a melee class. so i think it could be a good idea

Visually, they show at +35 and +10. Stat wise they are equal to what they would have been at +40 in NGS. Programming would be weird to continuously have them change between +35 and +10 every single time you transfer those items between the two games.

it's probably not only the defence, but if I'm right then every +10 enhancement, starting from 20 should open an extra augment slot, making it 4 by +40. That's a lot of new slots if we go by 3x2=6. A lot of augments for pp, potency, etc can be fit in here. So even if def is not your priority, it gives a huge amount of indirect offense. Also the Battle Rating ;)

To be honest it takes about 3 hours of gameplay per week to do all the daily/weekly which gives you more than enough Meseta for a single unit. So even being super lazy you can be with the very beast gear in the game in just a month of playtime. Quite a bit less if you play more. The numbers really aren't that high when you consider the amount of meseta weeklies give. It's just a shame that the personal shop is a massive joke at the moment and nobody uses it, the economy is whack.

fusing stuff with the same name gives an xp bonus, lower star equipment costs less n-meseta to fuse together, people have done the math and it seems to be the most efficient way in terms of n-meseta to lvl up equipment, it might not be the most efficient way to lvl up equipment in terms of the amount of equipment you have to fuse in total

@@nyanpyon Take the 2 star armor for example. Fusing 5 of them into another piece brings it to exactly lv 10. Sure you get bonus EXP when fusing them together but when you then fuse that lv10 into your 4 star you don't get that bonus EXP. It gives you 950 EXP into your 4 star instead of the 1200 EXP you would have gotten if you just fused the 6 pieces straight into your armor :/. You are losing a whole piece of gear plus more worth of EXP and you say it cost less well duh you just lost a gears worth of EXP that should have gone into your wep you got what you paid for? I don't see how you math pays off in any way

You fuse 5x2* units into themselves and then into a 4* unit, it's 10k+4k, fusing those 5 units into a 4* unit, that's 20k, yes you lose a piece and like 50 xp but that's not a problem, these 2* units are easy to come by, n-meseta isn't that easy to come by.

@@nyanpyon Your numbers are wrong. 5x2* units into themselves then into a 4* unit which is 6 pieces in the end because of the upgraded piece is literally 950 EXP I said it in my last reply where are you getting 10k + 4k?? Also 5 units into a 4* separately gives 200 each how does that come out to 20k???????? The amount of EXP put into a piece of gear doesn't matter when fusing into another piece. The + value is what determines EXP upgraded and if its the same piece into itself its 50% more EXP.
