That was super helpful! Thanks for making this!

You guys need to use a pre recording and play it into the mic. That way it will be exactly the same input. Talking and singing can be variable on each rake.

I love my kaotica eyeball 🤷🏾♂️ helps when you don’t have a booth, especially when doing rap vocals.

It got rid of the high frequency reverb A LOT. Listen to the sibiliants specifically. But it didn't do shit on the lower frequency reverb, it sounds exactly the same.

I’m sold on it man. I’ve tracked a few rap and some country vocals on it so far and it does an amazing job. Thanks for the compliment! 🤗

I bought it and love it. My space is mostly treated as well, I bought it because the Auralex Mudguard I was using managed to snap my other mic stand and boom, too top heavy, so I went and bought another mic stand and boom and I set it up with my mxl v67, and the sound I got from it, I was truly happy with. I can whisper into it and it really picks up the subtleness without be having to project loud.

We still use this in a lot of our sessions and it does make a difference in a positive way. The fact that it is small and light does help a lot.

@@joshuabutlermusic yeah some people seem to not have had a good experience with it for some reason. but just goes to show it's not once size fits all but I do see alot of high end studios record with them in the control room. says alot.

made my vocal sound dead af and just dull overal , less natural sounding, and gives u less freedom to mess around with different vocal to mic techniques definitely makes singing sound worse, but for rap or any music in that style it might be okay returning mine this week

I didn’t notice a difference at all.

Didn’t notice any difference. I would like to see someone make a device to eliminate bleed from an acoustic guitar into a vocal mic.

it made my u87 dull the mic sounded way better without it!

I’ve actually heard people say the same. I’m not a big fan of it honestly. I’d rather deal with a little room reverb than my mic being dull.

@@joshuabutlermusic you say you are not a big fan of it here but in the comment below you say, "I'm sold on it man," and "it does an amazing job." I don't know where you stand?
@joshuabutlermusic2 жыл бұрын
@@YogaTerrorist I'm not crazy about how they advertise it as a "Portable Vocal Booth" It will NOT cut outside sound out as an actual booth would. BUT, it does do a pretty good job of keeping the reflections down in the room. It's on my microphone as I type this.

It's louder because your mouth is closer to the mic with the Eyeball on.

I just bought the Aston Halo and it hands down blows the kayotica away. Take a look at some of the KZbin videos on it. Well worth the money IMO.

Will one of you people PLEASE come to NY or go to ANY big city and test that damn thing against sirens, honking cars, barking dogs, traffic, aircraft, and a shit load of other exterior noises that we big city people have to deal with when trying to record in our apartments so that we can better determine whether or not this thing is worth it?!!!!!! Seeing video after video after video on KZbin of people testing the eyeball in fuckin "QUIET ROOMS" is sooooooooo frustrating. I WISH I had the luxury of a quiet room to record in!!!!
