Hi! I hope you're all doing well! I'm really enjoying making these chopstick swirl soaps. The pour takes a little longer than I'd like, but I just love the end result. My next video is an in-the-pot swirl that I should have posted within the next week or so. Thanks so much for watching! -Holly :)

Hello. I really like your work, thank you. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong: When mixing oils with a solution (30-35 degrees Celsius), the mass thickens within a few minutes, I beat with a blender for a minute or two, I can’t make designer soap because thickens quickly. Here is my composition: Olive -200 grams, Coconut-250; Macadamia-100; Castor -100 grams; Shea 200 grams; alkali-116.41; water-280 ml., Silk 5 grams. Tried at different temperatures but all the same.

Try soaping at 40-44 Celsius and get thin trace. Do not stir too long.

They say it helps with the distribution to reduce the chance of bubbles and air pockets. Your question is not silly either, because I used to wonder the same thing until I heard someone tell why in a video.
